Hydrodynamics for boats

    Would I realistically be able to have a propeller put together to propel a boat? Does BeamNG have proper hydrodynamics (like it has aerodynamics)?

    You sure can, the dinghy in this video from 0:45 onwards is using a n/b propeller.

    I assume that making a boat propeller is similar to making a airplane propeller.

    Probably not, it was just a simple debug vehicle for the early stages of buoyancy. It doesn't work well any more due to all the adjustments.

    I like new things even if they have a lot of bugs. Back when experimental was available, I used that all the time I played beamng.

    Yup, in fact I'm working on a tugboat that uses two propellers for propulsion. Let me know if you need any help setting one up.
