This mod adds a facelifted cab as an option to the Gavril D-Series, quite a simple mod, really.
I've gone for the trimless look with black bumpers and grey cloth interior to distance it as a work truck from the luxury oriented Roamer.

Atomix - Editing and customizing models and textures

TO INSTALL: Extract the zip into your mods folder in documents.
(final path should look like: Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods/vehicles/pickup/<mod files>)
    Otherwise the textures won't work!!

Except for the bumpers and wheels, the mod creates a separate body, with everything new under that selection.
Select part by part, or use a preset parts config under the pickup in vehicle selection.

If anyone ignores the instructions and then bitches about missing textures:
    You're an idiot.

    Enjoy.

Glad it took the Roamer spirit with it.

I love it! It gives the look of a Mid-Sized pickup when it's actually still a full-size.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks a little like the Ford Ranger.

Nope. It does somewhat look like the Ranger and other small pickups. This facelift makes the truck look so much smaller... It's interesting to have something like this to drive. I like it. :)

The new update changed Materials.cs because of the new bits for the Off-Road versions of the D-15 and Roamer, the mod caused the new items to not have textures.

Here is a fix. Replace the original one with this in the folder from this mod.

I know that there is a D-Roamer conversion out there, but could you fit a D15 front fascia on the Roamer correctly?

Will this mod be updated to use the new d15 offroad light bar?

Do you mean the police lightbar or the other one?
I think you'd need to play around a bit with the model and the jbeam to make it work, but if you have some experience and know how to do those things it should be doable in a day.

How did you fixed it? I have the same problem. (I'm using the dx9 version of the game but with picup from the new one)
