I suggest that Beam.NG Drive makes this game for Mac, as some Macs can handle huge games. I also think it would be great for Mac users, as for some reason, as beastly of computers they are, many games are not configured for Mac's setup.

There's not a lot of Macs out there that can actually run the game - only the really high end Mac Pros can really do it justice. Can you imagine all the people running to the forums to complain about performance because their Macbooks run the game at 4 FPS?

Plus the devs would have to port Torque3D to Mac, plus switch to OpenGL because Mac doesn't support DX9 or DX11. It took nearly a year to change the UI, and the devs have more important things to work on like content and gameplay.

Maybe in the far future, but for now; no.

What? This couldn't be farther from the truth. Macs are not built to play even somewhat intensive games in any way. They are not beastly and they can't handle huge games. Most of the Mac linuep is sold with crap GPUs and decent non-gaming oriented CPUs, whereas the crazy expensive trashcans have high-end workstation grade hardware not meant for gaming - thus it doesn't game that well. I'm not a biased PC user either, because I'm actually typing this on my MacBook Pro Retina. I still throughly enjoy BeamNG on my windows installation (via bootcamp) with a 360 controller plugged in and the settings on their lowest, but Macs are in no way meant for gaming, and BeamNG would not do well at all on them. If you want to play BeamNG on a Mac, install Windows via Bootcamp and run the game that way.

    This.

I've used both for more than a decade now, infact I typed my previous reply on my iMac. They're good machines yes, but they are in no way ideal for BeamNG. Or any demanding games for that matter. The biggest games out there arent availible for mac not because devs want to ruin your life, but because there's no demand AND the hardware isn't enough.

They should just put a banner up for new users saying "THIS GAME WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON MAC, XBOX, PLAYSTATION, OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN WINDOWS"

    A) Its mac not MAC. mac is not an acronym and has always been stylised in the lower case.
    B) no. Check his post history. Its just bumping and finally dropping to a lack of grammar raging.
    C) no. His age is set as 15. Forum rules dictate a 16 minimum age.
