The Windows 10 update system is almost as bad as the one plus invite system If they are putting people in a queue then it would be super awesome to see where in the queue i am. Or receive an approximate time of when i may get the ability to upgrade. I have a copy reserved, its being rolled out in my country, god knows when i will actually get it though...
I am in the exact same position. But im not sure that i expect to see it tonight, maybe in the morning when i wake up it might be there. But i still got 30 or so mins before i pack in for the night so fingers crossed. There cant be that many people waiting after midnight to update windows on their computers. I imagine 95% of the UK dont give a crap. So please microsoft, please give me that upgrade bubble. Please I am a little worried that having only 1.53gb available on the C drive may be an issue but i do have 42.6gb free on the D drive. With it being a tablet storage comes at a premium. But i will enjoy the extra free space i will gain from Win 10 when i do get it since it apparently removes the recovery partitions on devices.
I dont have that, but apparently i can get an update for my wifi drivers on the tablet. Since the ones on there already are super flaky whats the worst that can happen?
at least you guys can see your updates, mine just keeps throwing this in my face there should really be an ok button (yes i can see available updates, but it doesn't let me see the status of updates being installed, meaning i have no idea if i have to restart yet or not)
right after i posted that, yes, said it was pending for restart, so restarted, still would rather it actually tell me right when i open windows update instead of making me do that but such is the life of a windows user, because microsoft
I already posted this on blenderartists.org and it's still waiting for a admin to approve it, but maybe it can be answered here, quicker. When I render this scene (in attachments) it only renders the structure/house/thing when I F12 render it. It doesn't render the light or the sphere. Help?
now comes the waiting game, i've just finished the last updates of all the currently available updates for 8.1 (excluding 10) on my secondary 8.1 partition, so just have to wait for windows 10 to say it's ready to install
The time has come for me to sleep and see if it works when i wake up. The new wifi driver hasn't killed anything though and seems to have fixed things. So yay, no network debugging at 1:30am. I had a look at the blender file but i couldn't spot anything immediately. Or maybe i might not be sleeping after all. Its downloading Well it failed :/

Who says you can't game on a G3258? It's definitely good enough for most games. Maybe not if you're recording or streaming or something like that.
