Hi, i couldn't decide whether to put this in the Bug report, or the Suggestions thread So yeah, When i park on a road, and want to update my spawn point (L-CTRL+R) The car jumps to a fixed orientation every time. it is really annoying, especially when I'm next to a Tree, or wall, because then i get stuck D: And as theres no Drag thing in BeamNG, theres no way to rectify this other than keep respawning till it moves through the obstruction so i would love it so when you press L-CTRL+R to update your spawn point, it would spawn you in the same direction your car was facing when you applied it. A fix for this would be greatly appreciated! -Made a video on it Thanks John
I also think this problem is annoying like when i'm next to a tree or wall or building when and I respawn the vehicle always get wedged between the wall or tree or it get's stuck in it. The devs will probably fix it in a later update.
To fix that problem you can pause the physics (J), go in free look (Shift + C), and go in the editor (F11). There use the Move selection (2) tool and move the car wherever.
Being able to rotate the vehicle entity (and rotate its spawn) is a big hurdle that we will try to overcome. It is a lot of complex math to rotate the vehicle, believe it or not.
This is one of my biggest issues with the game right now as well. If I am setting up for a run way or jump that is not on the respawn axis then every single time i respawn i need to re position my car so it is facing the correct direction
