I'm still not able to load levels. I verified files, restarted steam, couldn't find a fix update, so I just deleted the local files and reinstalled the game, and the issue still isn't fixed. I'm not sure if I have the fix update or not.

I am aware that my steering in-game will be damaged, should have made that more clear. :)

But I'm talking about the physical wheel being off centre. It sometimes will stay centred at 20 degrees to the right, and that is centred steering in game. (with a non damaged car)

The wheel also stays like this after exiting the game, and is only fixed when I unplug and plug the wheel back in to calibrate it.

When it is off centre, I also go to the "game controllers" menu and can see that the wheel is not centred physically when it shows that it is. (until I calibrate it again)

I haven't gotten the issue today at all. Not sure why this happens every now and then, and seems to only occur with this game.

Not sure what's causing that, but you said you reinstalled the game.
Have you also wiped the 'BeamNG.Drive' folder in 'MyDocuments' aswell?

Failure to load cached COLLADA .dae for eca_undergrowth test. This has been a problem for awhile now and crashes the forest editor to where it will
not respond and has to be deleted. T3D log attached. This happens when selecting the medium and small undergrowths but not the huge.
The huge eca_undergrowth shows up fine. Same exact thing happens in a fresh untouched East Coast USA.

Hate to ask again, but whats going on with the force feedback fix? Are you guys having more problems with it then you originally thought? The reason i ask again is because it has been 2 days since it was initially said to be fixed, and im really wanting it back.

It's taking a bit longer than expected (it requires some major code rewriting), but it's being worked on and may take a few more days.

Thanks for the help, no I didn't. It doesn't matter now, my good computer is coming back from repairs tomorrow so I don't have to worry about this heap anymore ;)

I was going to suggest that the tracking sensor wheel inside the housing of the G27 might be loose, but if it doesn't happen in other [driving] games, then it may not be. if I ever experience it, I'll let you know, but while the FFB is disabled, I'm not playing. the fact that my wheel doesn't give any FFB other than the 100% center spring, the driving experience sucks major.

It's an odd issue. Might be my G27. :( But it happens very rarely and has never happened with a different game, and I play a few other driving games with my wheel quite a bit.

I'm looking to expand my collection of driving games. I used to play TDU2 until Atari decided to go to shit. other games on steam are either only single player (Like this one) or expensive.

I have never experienced what you have experienced though. if I do, I'll probably give you a shout or something.

About the wheel not centering: It happened again a few times in the past few days. Worst it got was the wheel being physically off-centre by almost 180 degrees... It also happened in Euro Truck Simulator 2, but was very minor and seems to be less common.

ust found the most likely problem. Rotary encoder's loose. I found a video to fix it and will try tomorrow most likely.

EDIT: @Dr. Toxic You were right about a sensor-thing being loose. Well most likely at least. Hopefully it's not damaged or a different problem.

I hope so, I'm sure the first time I Read the update news they said they were going to bring out the next update "Tomrorrow", but that has changed since, or I read it wrong first time... did anybody else notice this?

Sounds like it's loosening up a bit when under high stress.. see if you can tighten it. Maybe apply a little bit of Locktite to it.

Well I don't know where else to ask this question and couldn't find an answer anywhere...:

I feel really stupid asking this, but where in the new UI can you change the time of day? I found this feature only three days ago, but can't find it again. Not the first time I couldn't find it either...

EDIT: Nevermind! Seems that only some maps (Green Valley in this case) have the ability to change the time. Oh well...
