Yep, fatpeoplehate. A subreddit banned on reddit. Now they are crying censorship and reddit is on fire To be fair their CEO is kinda a SJW.
Went and looked at the crown Vics today. Decided on the nicer of the two 06's to bid on, mainly because of the paint. I assume that better paint means it was ragged on less. Didn't need a boost, started right up. Idle rpm fluctuates a little but I'd imagine that's a simple fix. Revs nice. AC blows cold. Electronic throttle control was surprisingly responsive. Did no more than put it in drive and reverse and roll it a foot or two. Hope the transmission isn't shit. Link Saw this awesome escort wagon and took a picture of it for *kitteh5*. It was pretty disgusting on the inside and it was an auto, boring.
Could just be emissions control, quite a few ford ECUs of the era had a slightly fluctuating idle, although it was a very regular fluctation.
I looked at that, and seeing a pic of an Escort coming from you was surprising, and 4AT+88HP=slow. If it had a manuel, I'd want it. Mine's good enough for now. Also yesterday, after eating, Dad saw a Focus SVT, in black, 3 door, with red accented interior, fully loaded. $3k, he wants it. I do too.
I bought the Half Life pack on Steam for 10 smacks. I've never played any of em. What to expect? Also my CPU is idling ~66-70f. My ambient is ~76f. I guess that's AMD sensors for ya.
At least it's relatively light. My Corolla has about the same power a 4AT, and is about 3800 pounds. It's BEYOND slow. I can take off full throttle and no one notices. Poor thing needs a brake hose still. I'm not getting rid of that car for a long time, there's something it has that my truck lacks, and I don't know what.
HWMonitor shows me, on a 70F day, it idles at 18C, which is 64.4F. Either the Hyper 212 is liquid godsend made into a heatsink, or sensors.
I was hoping it'd be a manual when I saw it, but I opened it up and it was am automatic. The black metal trim on the side of the door was hot enough to burn my fingers when I closed it. I should have checked it out a little closer to see which engine it had but the crown vics were the priority. I also wish I'd have taken more pictures of everything. The only picture I took was of the escort. :| Took a video of each of the '06 crown vics, but they're pretty shitty. I also forgot to check the damn axle codes on the door stickers. I ran the vin for the car I picked out and it's got the 3.55 limited slip, so it's all good.
My A8 3850 ran from 0c idle to 36c max load. In reality it hit under 50c max load. (For some reason the MSI motherboard program displayed accurate temps but everything else showed the 0c idle.)
I can't help but think that it would be awesome to have a racetrack made in the same vogue as wipeout for BeamNG. I know we have the skytracks for gridmap, and as long as you keep the speed above 70 and have a little downforce on your car things are good. but yeah, I just want something larger and equally as technical. Wonder, has anyone got something like that in the works? Because in a non-arcadey setting with realistic damage it's quite thrilling to haul ass in a rally/race car on those
And I need just a wheel. And a new Graphics card. And I'd like a microphone. New monitor could also do. Would also like Super Mario World PAL for the SNES. "I don't know what I could get for christmas/birthday" -Me 2015
I could do with a vr headset, that would be nice. A better office chair would be nice so im not in pain as much. The Ducky Shine 5 looks pretty neat. But i will be a uni student in a few months so it will more likely be a tin of soup to eat from the can BTW: The rift consumer version 1 has been announced
My desk is a dining room table, still in the dining room. Built it, stayed there because my desk was so fucking small for a rig, screen, kb/m. - - - Updated - - - Haha. My max I've hit since I installed my cooler was 49C. Not too bad to be honest, better than 62 (amd's max) on stock.
Half-Life is probably best left unexplained in advance. Most of the joy of the games is the exposition-based storytelling. In keeping with SixSixSevenSeven's comment, a good stylistic cartoon effect would do this wonders. It would set it aside from BeamNG and may make the physical inaccuracies (no offense; BeamNG's pretty complex) seem deliberate. You'd just need some stylized 2D flexbodies... Edit: Yup, here:
