"Preparing to launch BeamNG.Drive..."

That is what steam says when I try to launch the game. it has been happening for about 3 weeks now and I haven't been able to play since before then. is there any fix to this?

Try a fresh installation. Follow these EXACT steps in this order:

-Uninstall BeamNG from Steam
-Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from 'My Documents'
-Delete BeamNG.Drive foldere from Steam/Steamapps/Common (If there is still a folder)
-Reinstall

Just tried that and still doing the exact same thing.

is there anything else I could be doing? I uninstalled and reinstalled everything again and no luck.

Try launching the Beamng .exe file directly from it's installation location (Steam/Steamapps/Common) instead of using steam.
