I didnt get any more responses on my latest find regarding the impact lag i am having on a computer were it shouldnt happen on.
I get impact lag every time i have a big impact with a vehicle. Not just the first time
so it can cache but every time.

So i just found out my cache is empty and always has been which might be the source of the impact lag problem.
Is it normal for the cache to never be used? If not, how do i fix it.

    Thanks.

When people say caching textures after an impact, it means loading the file into RAM, seperate to the games cache. As for the games cache not being used, are you using a non standard documents folder location? The answer to that is no if your documents folder is the usual C:\Users\username\Documents, Yes if you've had it moved somewhere else.

So, your BeamNG.Drive folder in 'MyDocument' is totally empty? That's really strange, and may be the reason of your lag.
You don't have a 'torque3d.log' file in your BeamNG.Drive in 'MyDocuments'?
If yes, can you post it here (attach it to your post).
If not, does your windows account have administrator privileges?

Oh pfffff i was looking in the cache in the install dir lol.
    I found it now.
Should i delete them all? I also tried the CTRL + R to create a vehicle cache but that did not help with the impact stutter\stop

CTRL+R is not to create a vehicle cache. The game will do that automatically as soon you load a vehicle for the first time.
So, looks like there is no other reason your game to be lagging apart your rig not being fast enough :\

Did you try the techdemo before purchasing? Did it happen there too?

    Yeah it happened there too.
People have said they didnt have impact lag on even a lower cpu than mine so i dont get it.
    I have a i5 3350p , 8 gig ddr3 ram and a geforce 760 gtx.
The framerates are all great but crashing a vehicle at above 30 always causes a stutter or complete 1 second stop depending on what vehicle is used and how at what speed im crashing it. It drives me nuts!
Can i delete the entire cache(s) to see if it helps?

He wants his computer to do something that it cant. It reminds me of the argument over smoothing groups, where the editors do not know what smoothing group the complaint is talking about.

Does the lag happens with all cars?
Does it happen when the crash sound happens or also when it doesn't?
Send you log, asked you before but you haven't posted it..

Not all cars no. It doesnt matter if it is original or custom. Some are good and some are terrible on impact lag.
I'll try to find the log and post it. I don't know about sound. It happens when going a certain speed and it needs to calculate the impact. Yesterday a guy told me he never had impact lag on a cpu slower than mine and i always have it. If i for example drop a car out of the sky from high it can just stop the screen altogether at impact and then skips forward to a crumbled car. Even as bad as 2 seconds.

The log. Thank you for taking the time.

You need to tell the exact vehicles it happens with.
Some are heavier on CPU than others.
By reading the log, it says you are trying with the semi.
That is one of the most intensive vehicle.
My old i5 2500 even struggled with that, so it would be quite normal if your i5 also struggles with it.
If I guess, the other vehicle that is causing that problem is the H45 (Boxed van) and the Moonwalk. I am right?

I was just testing the semi and it is indeed laggy.
I get impact lag with a whole bunch of different vehicles and the boxed van and moonwalk are actually the ones that work well. When i load the semi i can already see the framerate drop when not crashing but the impact lag is the same like any other vehicle that has impact lag.
I think the devs need to try and optimize the game some more like there are no options except for graphical options.

Not sure if i bring something new to this thread but i don't have said impact lag, i have amd fx-6300 and i just tried on gridmap with moonhawk. At start i have around 25fps, i then crashed said car to a block and fps goes to about 23fps. Then i re did it and fps were 35 and after crash 27fps and fps raised little every time i did this. Note that my beam in in windowed mode and with resolution being 1440x900.

Edit added:Oh with sunburst the fps were around 50fps but at crash fps dips around 30fps but quickly rises again. That the impact lag you talk ?
