Massive FPS drop

    Hi.

    I know I made a topic about this earlier, and I thought I solved the problem but it's here again. On East Coast USA i use to get locked at 60 fps, now it's 30-40 fps only, and it continues being at 30-40 when I press J.

    Suggestions?

    I'm fairly sure the graphics defaults changed in the updates. Make sure the settings are where you want them to be.

    It just wonders me that the fps doesn't get higher when I press "J" Something most be totally wrong.

    If you press J and FPS doesn't change, the problem is due graphics. Make sure your options are the same as before. The update changed them to default.

    Why we say to "press J and check the FPS" is to see if the cpu is not good enough. So if you do press J and the fps go up, that means the cpu is the problem. If not, that means the graphics card is the one struggling, check your graphics settings.

    So, my graphics are too high for these specs?

    Eh, just put those sliders to 3/4 (default settings), it should be good. 4/4 does nothing more really, just make you use more GPU resources for things you may not notice.

    Like this? Makes me gain just 40 fps whilst driving, and looks lot worse than it did some days before and with 60 fps..

    Not sure if my GPU usage is stated here, but hope you can use it. If not, I'll try figure out a way where I can find it.

    Nope, it's not in that screen.
    You need some program that can monitor your GPU (Msi Afterburner or alike)

    Uh no.
    CPU Usage is something like the CPU usage in taskmanager but for the GPU. Just google :/
    You need to check of your GPU usage is around 90% or for some reason low when you run BeamNG.
