The developement snapshots thread is really going up in flames now. So, "we" basically managed to nuke another thread.
What the hell is happening in that thread... It would have probably all been finished and done had tdev not brought it up again Time to grab some popcorn
Just got a call from the hospital. They reviewed the X-rays again and apparently I broke my thumb and tore a tendon in my foot. Fun.
Parents ended up getting some steam cards for the game. Still feel childish about getting angry for not getting something, even if it was because of a deal being broken partially.
If they said that they would do it then you were probably within reason to moan about it. But since they resolved the issue you should probably get back to doing good things so they can see the benefit of offering such incentives and keeping good on them. That way it is a win win situation.
WHOO directly connected to modem now and sometime this summer comcast upgrades our speeds for free to about 75Mbit/s (although based on the fact that were supposed to be getting 50Mbit/s as of right now, it seem's we'll probably end up with 85Mbit/s in real world if our current experience is anything to go by)
The Start Screen will stop being awesome in a month. Fortunately for you by the time you're sick of it Win10 will be released so you won't have to downgrade to 7.
i've had my current pc with windows 8/8.1 for about 1&3/4 years and it's still awesome IMO the key part here though is the fact that it's all opinions, you may not like it but that doesn't mean irock isn't still going to like it
It's not that bad. Just put most of your icons on the taskbar or on your desktop. I do have two screens, so opening the start menu doesn't keep me from working. It seems like that would be a massive annoyance with one screen.
I set it up so Windows boots automatically to the desktop, instead of the start menu. I can't remember how I did it, but a quick Google search should help. I'm using a Unicomp Ultra Classic Model M on my Windows 8.1 machine.
