As soon as i spawn the D35 with 8" bed and trailer, it dips to 18-20 fps, and doesnt budge at all.. All cores are loaded.. Not much, but they are not idling..

    Running out of ideas.
Dumb question but, did you reboot the PC after fixing the parked cores? (not even sure if it's needed, but eh).

If you lower the game resolution, do you gain FPS? If you turn off the PostFX, do you gain FPS?
Do you get that problem also when using official vehicles? Example please.

Try running the bananabenchmark too > http://www.beamng.com/threads/13099-BeamNG-BananaBenchmark-The-visual-approach
And tell us the result score.

I did reboot, and it doesnt say parked anymore.

No fps gain if i change the resolution. I get a tiny little bit with PostFX off.. Not much.. 5 fps or so..

    http://beamng.software-enkler.com/v1/displaybench.php?token=553bd16269700 My score..

Try the new snapshot version. Regardless of whether or not you see performance increases, you'll at least get the Roamer.

I got a small boost to my FPS when I updated.

Otherwise I cannot figure out why you are having issues. My i5 4690 hold 60 FPS with up to four complex cars, so I dunno why an i7 Extreme can't do the same.

Where can i find the newest snapshot version? Mine is not an extreme ;) 5960X is tho.. 12 cores, 24 threads.. I only have 6 cores and 12 threads.. But still, should be plenty..

Your CPU should be more than enough, snap shots helped my frame rate a little too though but its not that much.

Your benchmark result is kinda wierd. Its a tiny bit slower than my stock 4790k: http://beamng.software-enkler.com/v1/displaybench.php?token=5539152042ce4
and slower than other 5820ks: http://beamng.software-enkler.com/v1/displaybench.php?token=5531f9ba6ec6f

You can notice in both that the percent real time line always goes down, whereas in yours its a bit all over the place. IDK what is causing it, but it is certainly suspect.

EDIT: Just noticed your clocks, so the performance vs other CPUs is explained, but the %real time graph is still weird.

    Ok mikk63792,

You have an 840 Evo, have you updated the firmware and ran the performance restoration software (my current firmware version is EXTCB6Q) it made a noticeable difference in performance.

I am also using the magician software and have set it up to for performance plus using the rapid mode might help, basically their version of intel's rapid storage i believe.

Did you do your own upgrade/build? Maybe check the setting for any turbo frequency, power saving or whatever Asus may call it.

Download a demo copy of PCmark7 and look at what might be the cause of those droops in your Bananabench results.

    Hope this helps man.

Didnt help in my case :( Still goes to about 20 fps when i spawn the D35 truck from that modpack.. Basically it is every truck with trailer it does it with.. Some without too..

Might try to reinstall windows.. And then try to set the ssd's up for performance as ShinRocks says...

I will try that.. Havent updated the firmware tho..

    - - - Updated - - -

So, this is what happened.. I saw that my memory was running at 1333Mhz (They should be at 2800Mhz!).. I've had some problems with XMP in my bios before, so i didnt think i could get it to work.. But it did! So i ran Banana Benchmark and this http://beamng.software-enkler.com/v1/displaybench.php?token=553ca095835ff is what it came to! A LOT better than before! I'm going in to test it now to see how it goes!

    - - - Updated - - -

I got about 5-6 fps more with the D35 spawned.. So it has helped, but not a lot.. And also, remembered wrong about my SSD's.. I have 3 Intel 520's.. One 120GB for other storage, and two 250's for windows and games (BeamNG is on this one).. So i'm looking into the intel rapid storage technology later..

You keep saying about that D35 (which apparently is quite heavy on CPU because the trailer). What happens with the official vehicles? (D15 and etcetc)

It runs smooth until i have 3 or 4 vehicles of any type, execpt the gavril t65/75.. It lags instantly with that one spawned..

It is in performance mode i think :)

I see your problem. Your CPU is perform about 30% slower than it should be (defective maybe?).
The way you describe it makes me remind of my i5 2500.
Being able to run up to 3-4 vehicles without lag was normal for the 2500, but adding more would cause lag. T75/65 (or similar complex vehices) wasn't a thing for the 2500 either.

So something is limiting your CPU, and that's causing the lag in BeamNG

T75/65 and that D35 mod have similar complexity, so they may perform similar.

I would check the power options (especially the maximum CPU load, make sure it's set to 100%)

Just checked the maximum load, and it is set to 100%.. Dunno what else i can do now :(

Have tried doing a clean boot? I.e. running mscofig and disabling all non windows processes and programs at start up. Maybe remove any overclocking and see if that makes any difference.

Also have your ran any other games CPU intessive games, battlefield 4 or crysis 3 are multicore developed. Might show the issue is just with beam.

Do you have any other games? like... really demanding games on the CPU like Crysis or GTA? also run games like Tomb Raider since that game uses like.. umm.. does it even use the CPU? XD to make sure that the GPU isn't doing anything stupid too, I'm not worried about the game at this point but rather your computer, but play some other games and record the computer usage, your system should be faster than mine, if its slower than get it checked out, could be a really big problem on your computer, also check for malware and stuff, its nasty D: it can drive your system to a halt, go to www.bleepingcomputer.com (I think thats what its called) and look for rKill and JRT, it will check your system for free, I learnt how to use it while I was working at a computer repair job, so its the real deal.

    Hope it all goes well.

When other people mentioned "power saver" and "high performance", not sure if they meant in windows, or the settings in your bios (or anywhere else). Maybe someone else said this too, but unclearly to me.

I have an Asus motherboard as well, and when I first booted my computer, the performance level setting (in the bios) was set by default to "energy efficient" or "power saver" or something like that. So I changed it to the highest level of performance right away.

Changing this made a huge difference in performance to me. So if you haven't changed it yet, this may be what is stopping your game from running well.

Hope this was able to help you. :)

EDIT1: Also, your hardware should be much faster than mine (in my signiture)

    EDIT2:

Also try cleaning programs like malwarebytes, adwcleaner, and hitman pro. (if all the other solutions don't work)

It might be something to check, but do you have other CPU-hogging programs open while playing BeamNG?

Just did that.. Didnt give me any frames in games, other than fast startup.. LOL

    GTA V runs flawless on V-High, 4 x MSAA, 16 x AAF, 1080p and so on.. I will give those programs a try ;)

Cant see that feature on my motherboard (Asus Rampage V Extreme), but i will try to look it up to see if it has that feature..

    CPU-hogging?

*Gets Idea!* Have you tried running BeamNG as an Admin? right click the executable and run as Admin. This may let the game grab more access to the hardware.
