Hi, This is my first post on this forum.
Yesterday I downloaded the demo of BeamNG, but when the download was finished, the downloaded file was a .zip file.
So the question is, how can I install it?
    Thanks for helping me :)

I always use Winrar, but when I open it, it is just a normal folder with files in it

Right click it and choose "open with java" then it will run normally.

    Open the zip.

Drag the whole folder contained in the zip out of the zip, somewhere where you want it. (My Documents\My Games maybe?)

Open the folder that is now outside of the zip, and without moving anything else around run the .exe from inside the folder. If you want the icon somewhere more convenient, right click on the .exe and hit "create shortcut." Then put the shortcut where you want.

Java has nothing to do with BeamNG? Why would you try using that?

    Thanks :p

    - - - Updated - - -

I've done it right now, but the .exe wont run: When I click it, nothing happens.

I've tried to re-download the zip 3 more times, but there's the same problem. BeamNG wont launch/open!
When I left-click the BeamNG.drive.exe file, nothing happens.
I do not know anymore what can I do to run it.

Are you trying to run it while it is still in the zip?

It wont. You cant run applications from in a zip (well you can try, but most don't work).

Let me just show you how to do this step by step with images

    1. Open the zip
    Screenshot (17).png

    2. Move the folder inside of the zip to your dektop
    Screenshot (18).png

    3. Open the folder and then open the .exe file that's included in the folder. DON'T move it out of the folder, or it won't work.

ok, this is what I've done. But the problem is that the .exe file wont run: When I double click it, of course from inside the folder, nothing changes and nothing happens.

It works fine for me, so there's gotta be a problem on your side.

OK, this will sound stupid, but what Operating System are you using? If it is not Windows, then there is your problem.

It is Windows Vista. I normally use Winrar to extract Zip folders.
And I also have a question: I love that pickup in the 0.3 version, Is there also in v2.1 version?
