    Hey guys, StinchinStein here.

I was wondering how you would rate this graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti) on a scale of 1-10 for BeamNG.

I'm currently getting about 45-60 fps on GridMap.
Is that good for this graphics card?

    Thanks,
    StinchinStein.

It's a decent midrange GPU with plenty of balls to run BeamNG with most or all of the eye candy enabled, but probably not at huge resolution. I voted 7 because chances are you will become CPU limited before that GPU will hold you back unless you run at or near 1080p. I've got a 560Ti and I'd give that a 6 or 7 as well for BeamNG; I run with all of the eye candy enabled and full AA/AF at 1280x1024 and I'm CPU bound to about 30FPS at this resolution (Pausing physics sends FPS through the roof and turning settings down did nothing). I'd love to be able to run 1080p, but I can tell that as the resolution increases, the GPU becomes my limiting factor and I'm not willing to trade visual effects for more pixels.

GridMap is also better for testing your CPU than GPU, as there's very little to render besides the car itself. If you're looking to stress the GPU, I'd test on East Coast at various points with dense foliage and on the bridge. Also, pause physics and if your FPS increases then you're good to go up in resolution and/or detail because you're only going to get the realtime FPS that your CPU can pump out for the physics, so those extra frames you see when it's paused are your GPU being free to render at its full speed. On the other hand, if your FPS does not increase when you pause physics, then you are limited by the GPU and should scale back some settings or turn off SSAO/HDR until your CPU and GPU seem similarly loaded.

That could be like that because you have a lower quality CPU. I have a AMD-FX 9370 Eight-Core Processor. (4.4 Ghz)
    What do you have?
