    Hi everyone,

I've recently found out this game and it seems awsome for me. It's very nice to have deformable vehicles, and the fact that it's possible to add 3D models into the game is amazing for someone who work as a cadist (which is my case).

The problem is I'm not sure how is the full version of the game going to run on my laptop. I've done some research here, and it let me to the following settings:

    PostFX System: OFF
    Resolution: 1280x720
    Vertical Sync: OFF
    Anisotropic Filtering: OFF
    Anti-Alising: OFF
    Mesh/Texture/Lighting/Shader: HIGH

I'm not sure how much Vertical Sync, Anisotropic Filtering and Anti-Alising contribute to the final result. PostFX, on the other hand, sure makes a big difference!

But it's not all: this settings would play perfectly in window mode, but still seems to slow down a little bit in fullscreen. Nothing to blame about! The way it plays now is perfectly good for me.
    1366x768 causes lag.

I'd like to know if there is something else I'm missing. Here is my system:

    Intel Core i7 2.0 2.6 GHz
    16.0 Gb Dual Channel DDR3
    AMD Radeon 2.0 Gb DDR3
HD 1.0 Tb hibrid 8 Gb SSD

I don't mean to be repetitive. I noticed that there are other threads about performance and lags.
I'd be thank if someone could tell me if there's something I'm still making wrong, and how I should expect the full version of the game to run.

    Greetings.

Your CPU seems like the most performance limiting thing. Since you can't upgrade Laptops, I'd reccomend you to buy a desktop PC.

I see that except for the processor, the other components match the system requeriments, even with some advantage.
The game runs well when I apply the settings I mentioned before. My only concern here is how it would run the full game...

    Thanks for your reply.

The full game WILL lag, because the maps and vehicles in the full game are way more complex then gridmap and the pickup.
The game doesn't even run smoothly for me, and I have a PC that cost 650€ (about 700$), so you might be lucky to run at 5fps on certain maps or with certain vehicles.

Seems like you didn't mention any models of your PC's parts. You say you have AMD Radeon with 2 GB memory. Which series? HD, R5, R7, R9? How about the model, M260, M230 or something else? Same goes for CPU.

For example, I have Core i5 2500K @ 4.6 GHz and ASUS GeForce GTX 980 DCII OC. GPU's memory amount doesn't really affect that much yet.

Run dxdiag to see what parts you have if you don't know.

I don't really know very much about hardware specification, I thought I had mentioned enough. So, here is what I got:

    Intel Core i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz ~2.6GHz
    16384MB RAM
    AMD Radeon R7 M265
    Window 8.1 64 bits

Anything else I should put in the list?

    Thanks for your attention.

While you'll never max the game, it will definitely run. I run on an intel 3217u with the integrated HD4000, low settings required and both moonhawk and T75 are no go's but the game does run, much less powerful than your machine.

No, that's really sufficient. Anyone who wants to know more about the parts can go and look up the SKUs on AMD/Intel's website.

You should be able to run simpler vehicles (Covet, D15, Pigeon, H15, Grand Marshal, etc.) no problem as well as the props. Stuff like the T75, H45, Moonhawk and Sunburst maybe not so much.

Heavily vegetated maps may require some lowered graphics settings, in particular lighting makes a big dent. Turn Anisotropic Filtering back up to 16x though. It makes a huge difference especially in driving games and is more or less free performance wise.

That's kind of what I imagined.

Ok, then I probably will try the full version!
I'll also try turning Anisotropic Filtering to 16x, as you said.

    Thanks everyone for the replies!

The sunburst does work on my 3217u too. H45 flatbed is fine. H45 cargo box does cause a performance hit.
