Hey guys, just a quick question: I'm looking for a decent wired headset, max 40$ or 30 euros. I am going to use them both for gaming and listening to music and I'd prefer them having decent low and mid tones. Also, a volume control would be nice to have. What would you recommend? Thanks.

Logitech G430 and G230 are good. The G230 doesn't support virtual 7.1 but most games support it natively anyway. I have a G430 myself, sounds pretty good.

Also anyone knows any really big HDD space eaters in Windows? I have 60GB left and it decreases daily even if I don't even download anything.
I deleted my Temp folder, disabled hibrenation, cleaned the downloads folder 40 times and checked for any virus that might rewrite itself x times on the drive.

Never make a build that relies so much on discounts. That PC would be $570 at base price.

Will this pc-build run games like skyrim, payday 2, bioshock infinite and of course beamng at medium graphics settings? http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZWjbD3
I also (try) to render things like this:
    image5.jpg
    Currently I have a laptop with i5-3320M @2.60ghz with igpu intel hd4000 and 8gb ram (it's a lenovo t430s), so I'm planning to get a mid-end gaming pc.
I don't need a hard drive I will continue to use my 240gb ssd (enough for me).
I also have a monitor at home.
My budget is about 650€ (but not more than 700€).

It might actually run all of these games at 1080p high settings.

I don't thing there's anything you could save money on. What game do you play most?

I play Skyrim often, but with my current laptop I only get about 30-40fps on low graphics and 470p resolution. Same with Red Faction Guerrilla
BioShock Infinite is only a little better (not only in terms of fps). Payday 2 has about 15fps on lowest resolution and lowest graphics.
BeamNG runs on ca. 25fps on medium graphics and lowest 16:9 resolution and with lowest shadow and lightning settings.
However, Farcry 3 and Assassin's Creed 3 run on medium graphics and 360p with 30fps.
Also (heavily modded) Kerbal Space Program run quite fine on medium graphics and 1600:900 resolution.
I also think about getting Gta 5 if it gets eventually released on pc.

You'll probably be able to run all of these games at 1920x1080, or maybe even 2560x1440 (If you have a monitor that supports that resulotion).
I have a PC that cost 650€, and it runs BeamNG at 1920x1080 without PostFX 30FPS allmost no problem.

Since you cant really overclock on that CPU you could use the stock Intel CPU cooler, then down the line if you find that the stock Intel one is too loud or runs to warm for your liking you can buy one then if you need it.

Not much you can improve without going over your budget. I tried to change a few things, surprised at how expensive everything is. Also, there are like 4 GTX 960 cards available, not a lot of choice really :|

I realized I can use the 8gb ram from my laptop so now the pc-build is cheaper. Are now any improvements possible? http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/7tzCkL

Laptop RAM isn't compatible with a desktop board. Laptops use 204-pin SODIMM, desktop DDR3 uses 240-pin DIMM.

There are converters for DIMM to SODIMM. Not sure if they are reliable...

Just get some cheap 1600 mhz 8gb kit - it'll be cheaper and you won't notice a performance hit.
