So I'm really impressed with these physics, but since you can't adjust the coils yet slamming cars becomes pretty fun lol (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) Also what seems to be the rattiest contraptions that runs? So far the H series seems to be the winner! Can't wait for more vehicles!!
Just giving you a hard time lol. Also try the civetta it looks like a golf cart once you strip it. have fun
Depends on the car some require you to leave the rear shocks to be driveable but for most of them remove: Front coil overs Front sway bar Front transfer case (optional) Rear sway bar Rear springs(including lead springs) For the white hatch you alsi must remove the exhaust because the cat hangs up! The coils are not adjustable yet because it's only the alpha I'm guessing haha. I'm sure we'll see adjustments similar to Live For Speed.
This was one of the first things I tried once I was in-game, after crashing a bit of course haha Would love something along the lines of what Live for Speed has, fully adjustable camber, ride height, stiffness etc. Even different tire compounds with adjustable pressure. There's so many possibilities but I guess all we can do is sit back and wait, hoping the devs see this and add it to their list of considerations So for now, achieve stance by removing suspension!
Dude if we could have adjustable camber, spacers, ride height, i would spend hours on end just stancing Covets and Pessimas xD im running lowest settings since my laptop cant handle much higher.
I'm actually toying with this right now, I think if you create a shorter coil or spring it would sit lower. Just trying to play with Jbeam files haha.
Its really confusing first but if you look at it Gabester made labels for which parts are which, just gotta figure out which numbers to change. I think it works roughly like the nodes system, not sure.
THis entire thread looks like it should be posted on stance works! Once I finish my AE86 I will stance it.
Ah, that's how you do it. I was messing with the specularity the whole time, didn't realise Torque3D doesn't use real time reflections. And also, is it even possible to change the specularity strength? It's as powerful on 1 as it is on 16.. It looks much more realistic with no reflections, but specularity still kills it. Anyway, time for some real rat wheels, I guess.
Oh yeah (imported from here) Enjoy! http://www.beamng.com/threads/1819-Hidden-Wheel-Unlock-for-Ibishu-Covet?p=23036#post23036
