What's the problem with them? I've always thought that they had ok power for their size and sounded great.
They're unreliable, mainly. And they're really V6ey. I just don't like them. Heard nothing but bad things about them. topkek "they got him" I also love how they tried to blame it on the truck sliding. You can see the front wheels turned all the way to the left and all 4 wheels turning fine. >texas
I tried Budgeted, was fine at first, after a few minutes I got both texture issues and taxi bug :| Might be the game using only a part of the available VRAM though. Will check that. - - - Updated - - - Stupid GTA. It's using only 1.2 GB of VRAM, of course it's gonna break. Gotta figure out how to let it use all 4GB, or at least the first 3.5.
Try these: -nomemrestrict -norestrictions -availablevidmem 2.0 -novblank -noprecache put them into commandline.txt in the game's folder. If it isn't already there then make it. The first two are just to tell the game not to restrict its options, and the second one is to manually tell it how much VRAM you have. I can't remember what "2.0" actually means but it works fine on my 3GB card. Also, did you make sure to put your vehicles.img's size into the Budgeted ini file?
Tried the no restrictions lines, game still uses only 1.4 GB of VRAM and starts failing to load after 15 minutes. I'll try manually telling it the VRAM amount.
I'm not that stupid :| When you put the size of vehicles.img in the ini file, you should use the actual size, right? Because if you have to use the size on disk, then that's the problem.
The first thing I do to GTA after spending 4 hours downloading it is break it with the HD Roads and Trees mod, yet I got CryENB working first try. I suck.
Now to figure out if I can email the tech department of my school system to find out if I can have some surplus PCs. They have no email listed on the Hallco site, and I emailed the lady in the office to see if she can find an email.
The main office of the whole school system doesn't want to be bothered by kids wanting old computers. :| Talk to the tech guy at your school and see if you can get something.
Ah, but annoying the fuck out of them is fun! Especially if it's run anything like my school. Nobody knows what the hell their doing there, except for my band director, who's actually a good friend of mine. And that's as far as I'm going with that.
He actually emailed the tech department for the whole school system. The main people They're not gonna give him a second thought.
Welp, going to talk to tech teacher. The dept. doesn't have an email, only the specific people do. Most of the PCs there are C2D, and not in bad shape. All getting replaced. Also might inquire about PCs from the whole district.
- - - Updated - - - BTW Six six seven before you post some reply saying "Use the magical google" I couldn't find any results. Anyways,What fps would a Intel core q9300 and GTX 650 get on arma 3.(normal) And a GTX 570 and q9300
Because youtube. Also if I had to guess, I'd say you'd get playable FPS. If you are planning to buy these, get at least a 650ti. It's a lot better than the 650. (I mean, a lot.)
Maybe on lower graphics settings you may be able to break 20fps. On very high at 1080p you probably wont do much better than 10fps. If you lower the resolution things will get faster. But not a huge amount since the CPU will be the main issue. Sources (as found via google ) http://www.techspot.com/review/712-arma-3-benchmarks/page3.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkEnOCQDw-w On the youtube video although they say no lag they are running the game at anywhere between 15 and 30fps, the GPU they use is faster than yours, paired with the CPU which will be the bottleneck which is the same as theirs its not looking so great.
Oh yey, I broke GTA. Eh, guess I'll just install one car mod at a time for screenshots. Not that I'd want to play through the damn thing again, I've done it at least four times.
