Hold on, is that the gas station from Automation test track? I only say because I’m not familiar with it, and I don’t recognize this one. MAYBE a new building, but most likely just the test track station. also, directly from Tdev? On a Sunday of all days too, that’s interesting. Two strange update/teaser schedules in a row lol
Have you guys noticed that both the first drive Vivace and the driving school Vivace don't have the boost gauge in the HUD? This means that we're probably getting naturally aspirated versions of the Vivace.
I had never seen it before either, but turns out it is just Automation test track, I've just never driven past it until now
Could be. The Peugeot 108 and Citroën C1 II were both available with a naturally aspirated PureTech (1.2L I3, the Cherrier engine is a PureTech).
does anyone else go back thru all the driving school missions? i havent seen any early game missions in a few updates but this update makes me wanna have a clean start now that it feels like a new game again lol
Looks like the devs actually ended up doing what @CrashHavenBNG was asking for a while back. Camodo’s video shows the American trailers listed as Randolph in the vehicle selector, alongside the the new FPU trailers
I hope the new vivace ( not new but yeah new config ) can have NA engines, The i3 is already fun, That with no Turbo hell yes! As it is you can get a Ardente Then swap the Torsion beam rear, And the i3 make a base model, That with no turbo real base fun stuff, Mind you i also hope ( off topic ) we get the i4 Diesel in the Legran/wendova
Yeah, I wonder what's up with the refreshes. This is the longest we've gone without a major refresh or remaster. I don't expect a refresh/remaster every update (we had at least one every time from 0.17.1 to 0.24.1, more than two years), but I thought we'd have at least one more by now. For context, previous large gaps between refreshes/remasters and the current gap: -0.24.1 - 0.26: ~9 months (Dec 2021 - Sep 2022) -0.28 - 0.31: ~8 months (Apr 2023 - Dec 2023) -0.36 - now: ~16 months (Jun 2025 - Oct 2026) Even if you count the minor refreshes of the Miramar and I-Series in 0.37, that's still 13 months ago. I guess you could count the minor touch-ups in 0.39, but I wouldn't count those. I'm guessing that the SBR, Hopper, '88 Pessima, I-Series, Moonhawk, and Barstow are being kept as "guinea pigs" for new features and content, based on previous updates (see: SBR and '88 Pessima getting bodykits in 0.33; GM getting a bodykit in 0.34). So, it'll probably be years before those six vehicles get their turn - at this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if the Moonhawk was still left un-remastered by 2030. The Bluebuck's fine, IMO - it's a bit lacking in content, but you could say that for almost any vehicle in the game. Both of those versions are still turbocharged. The first drive Vivace is the 230S (which, from MotoGamesTV's video, still has a turbocharger), and the driving school Vivace is also turbocharged (again, from MotoGames' video). N/A diesels are extremely uncommon in the modern era, and turbocharged petrol engines are the norm (especially for hot hatchbacks like the 230S). I doubt we'll ever see an official N/A Vivace, since that would require a new model and a bunch more maintenance every update. (It's why the FCVs and K/800 both use chiptunes instead of variable boost turbos or variable rev limiters. I dunno why the Sunburst got so many tuning options, on the other hand - it's the only vehicle so far to have individual gears you can select. Then again, the Sunburst also lacks a 6-speed manual, so...win some, lose some, I guess.) That would make sense, since we now have multiple trailers that are fairly similar to each other. I also love the little FPU flatbed trailer. Unfortunately, the other small trailers (box utes, small flatbed, enclosed cargo, travel) and the tilt deck still don't have manufacturers yet. We have years of production for the travel trailer (1975-1988), but nothing else. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing these get manufacturers - it'd be nice to expand the roster of brands for mods to pull from. As I said before, the first-drive/driving-school Vivaces are still turbocharged. As for a diesel LeGran/Wendover, that would be neat to see. I think it's far more likely for the LeGran (since the Wendover doesn't even have an inline-four-powered trim), but I wouldn't mind seeing both of them get that engine. More diesels for other vehicles in general (like the Covet, I-Series, Bastion (maybe? Both gens of 300 had diesel V6s), Moonhawk, Hopper, Miramar, Pessimas, and Pigeon) would be neat. I don't expect all of them to get a diesel, but at least a couple more (like the Hopper or I-Series) would be great. So far, the only diesels we have are in more modern European-market cars (FCVs, K/800, EU Lansdale) or big trucks (D/H/MD/T/Roamer, HT/WL, DT40L, Stambecco). The Pigeon used to have a diesel, but it hasn't had one in over 5 years - it was also our only ever diesel never to be offered with a turbocharger (you used to be able to remove the turbo on the T-Series, but that was done away with in 0.31, AFAIK).
i see the wydra sold well enough for them to enter the trailer business jokes aside, great to see European trailers in game now. just wish they gave us more than 3 to go alongside their USDM counterparts.
I'm definitely very happy to see the trailers get manufacturers, but it really is weird to see FPU apparently reconnected... Anyway, I'm sure we will get more Euro trailers in the coming updates. At least the ones we are getting now have a lot of variety A 5th wheel dump is a fairly big omission (Along with a dump body as discussed previously, I'm sure we will get them at the same time in the future) A Euro logging trailer is a bit more of a question mark to me. There is a lot of variety in how logs get hauled in NA, and from what I see each type basically has an EU equivalent. We could get an FPU 5th wheel trailer, and both trucks could certainly get a piggy back type trailer. The reason I'm not sure about it is logging is just in a weird place in game. We have one map landmark for it, no gameplay, and relatively little content when you consider there is an entire competing franchise around logging Someone who knows more about EU trailers is going to have to give input if we even need an EU container trailer or the FPU flat bed can fill that slot Then the usual stuff that the T-Series never got... Personally I've been hoping for a telescoping version of the flat bed. A low-boy has been a common request for awhile too. A special heavy haul trailer would actually be able to fill the low-boy niche while potentially only needing one version for both markets. Now that we have the heavy equipment there actually is a use case for these too. On another note, while we did get some more tire options from the T-Series remaster, there's still some types missing... The Percheron is another chance to get super singles in game. I doubt we'd get anything too crazy for off highway tires for the Percheron, but agricultural tires for this and the MD are on the table
Honestly, I think they just need to improve all of the smaller trailers in general - last I checked, the box utility trailer couldn't even have a US license plate mounted to it.
I wonder how (and if) certain third part mods will be handled on PS5 in the future. RLS career mode mainly interests me for obvious reasons. Technically, there are several ways that such mods could be included, but I think that potential collaboration between the RLS team and the BeamNG devs in the future would be ideal, to somehow adapt RLS career mode to the game lua api to rectify conflicts, or adapt the game itself (technically, the api itself could be modified). Really, this would be nice for PC and PS5 alike so that (perhaps) vanilla beam has the overhauled career mode, which would basically lessen the workload of the devs. Having a fully fledged career system could also be a major selling point for the game in the future.
And the travel trailer is ancient, and still hasn't had a remaster yet. I'm sure the smaller trailer will get some updates outside of their lights. Someday. Maybe. I'm honestly a bit surprised we didn't get a low-boy trailer with the HT/WL. The devs have long had a trend of adding trailers alongside vehicles (see: semi trailers with I-Series, travel trailer with LeGran, tilt deck and enclosed cargo trailers with Aurata, all the new/remastered semi trailers with the remastered T-Series, the new EU trailers with the Percheron), so I dunno why they didn't bother in that one instance. Considering we can get 6x6 and even 8x8 options for the Percheron, I'd be surprised if it didn't have off-road tires available. Super singles probably wouldn't happen, though. Those might come with an expansion to the quarry gameplay in career mode. Also, I find it a bit strange that of all the trailers for the devs to "mirror" in EU form, they choose the small flatbed one. The FPU one's got two axles, though, like the large box utility trailer and enclosed cargo trailer. Hopefully, we can get a box section on that trailer, just so that we don't need another separate trailer.
I'm sure we will get something with a semi-aggressive tread, like we already have the cross bars for the T/MD. I haven't seen any CC videos where they actually use the vocational configs of the Percheron but we know there are some vocational configs already, and someday probably a dump truck, so those will need something a bit more aggressive than a standard highway tread. But I would be surprised to see any full on off-highway tires like you'd see on a trial truck or farm truck or something. The Percheron isn't likely to be showing up at a trial competition (Could we see a Percheron that's on the level of a TGS? Legitimate question, I'm not sure), and right now if you want anything more aggressive than cross bars on the MD you have to go to the repository.
ikr?? and its so weird to see only ~ 10 different frames, even tho in that teaser we saw way more than that
