I have that kind of body style planned, and it could be used for trim levels such as the H35/H45. I even have a good portion of it's accessories too. It just needs a new body and frame and that's about it. Yes, I will add its own Table of Contents so everybody can see what has been added to the mod.
I'll add it very soon, I'm going to list everything included from the first post to the most recent one.
Hmm... --- Post updated --- Reminder: This is still a W.I.P, the body needs to be modified a whole lot more when it comes to modelling, skins, and J-Beam. If it does not get included in the first repository release, you'll understand why.
Successfully separated the front ends into 2 designs and made the Square Front look more like an old Ford. Not exactly perfect, but it will do for now.
That looks amazing! Just thinking about the model years I had another idea, what if the Ford looking one is a pre facelift and the normal square one is the facelift. The normal front end is closer in shape to the front end of the vanilla H-series, so it makes sense for the to be a facelift. The ford style front could even be taken as far back as the mid 70s with just round headlights (I would personally also suggest the red and silver grille badge from the T-series for consistency with the CEEP D-series, another popular retro themed mod, but that’s not a must.) As for model years, I’m thinking : 1975-1980 Ford/CEEP style with round lights and red Gavril grille badge 1981-1987 Ford style with rectangular light and regular Gavril badge 1988-1993 Normal square front style, since I believe the vanilla H-series starts in 1994. The model years you can shift or change as necessary and as said above the 70s style fascia is not a must, just giving some ideas.
I could possibly add Round Headlights and a new front badge, I like the idea of the Pre/Post Facelift for the Early H-Series, and one day I'd like to make this compatible with the Classic Engine Expansion Pack, but only time will tell.
How's progress coming along? This is looking beautiful, this is something I've wanted to see from CEEP for a while now, you've beat JAVI to it!
Just curious: are you planning on having a new heavy duty 8-lug wheel? The current ones are pretty old but if you aren’t that’s all good
CEEP adds older two and four-slot heavy duty 8-lug wheels in colourable and white versions. These would be good placeholders if he doesn't plan on adding any Also, I would like to see a t-series style red "premium" Gavril badge for the early fascias. CEEP has this for the D-series.
