Contrary to popular belief, its nothing to do with farming and most farmers were in heavy opposition of introducing daylight savings.

So, it's the evening sun thing. Why do we need this? I sure as hell really don't care about the extra time.

    nope. Energy.
Gets dark early, need lights on, gets dark late, don't need lights on. daylight savings cut coal usage during wartime quite drastically and helps keep the eco nuts and realists happy in the modern day.
Many businesses have more customers during daylight too, regardless of actual time so it helps commerce

Farmers have always worked by sunrise and sunset rather than the clock.

I really don't want to start a fight, but that doesn't mean you have to start it either. :^)

also about DST: i don't really see the big deal kitteh. it takes like 3 or so days to adjust.

it's like complaining about a cold toilet seat, even though it warms up after like, 3 seconds.

i don't know why you complain about every single little thing.

Not even 3 days. I'll be a little tired the morning after, but by the next day everything is fine.

I hate warm toilet seats. It reminds me that someone else was sitting before me :^(

i was accounting for him probably taking a bit longer to adjust. I'm fine already, but it's different for everyone.
i meant that the seat doesn't stay cold once you sit on it. already-warm seats are indeed creepy.

But thats the thing, nobody hates seats that they warm themselves, everybody hates already warm seats.

It is a rather big whoop because considering the crap you post here, that's your approach to every single action.

You need to mellow out man. You take yourself way too seriously.
How do you have any friends? Do you have any friends?
I don't see how anyone could enjoy being around someone as uptight and condescending as you.

It's a post on a forum, nothing is being taken seriously at all. Just because someone posts pointing out how dumb you act doesn't mean they're condescending at all. It's genuine curiosity as to how someone can do so many things wrong all the time, I'm more intrigued than uptight.

I think I might actually have to be more serious about it, since according to you, not being dumb = "being perfect all the time". There is a middle ground to that, y'know.
