so, i figured out (from default0.0player's comment) that setting the EV (autoexposure) levels down to the Highest (NOT LOWEST) they can go, actually does fix the over-bloom enough to make it look less blinding, so credit to him for that
How do we update mods to work with the new common bulb system? we would have to delete the old props category and include the "slots2" category for a start I believe but I'm lost after that.
Perhaps the graphics/fps/texture/etc issues people are having are due to the age of the GPU, such as GDDR type, bandwidth, etc. Since D3D12 is the latest and still receives updates, newer GPUs (such as my RTX 5050 laptop gpu which usually shouldn't be performing better than most high end cards from a few years ago) have better integration and can process it better
Okay so after using the ui a bit, i think overall it works. I have a few suggestions tho I think highlighting the vehicle selector would be helpful cause it kind of blends in with the other tabs. Maybe put it in the same spot for both freeroam and vehicle tabs cause its been switching me up a bit. i use the parts selector a lot, along with the configs and tuning sections. currently to get to those is a whole lot more steps than it was previously. I think the tuning menu is good, i like that the right side has the alignment app and extra data stuff. I know its a cohesion breaker but i miss being able to have the torque curve app up while being in the tuning/parts menu because it was very helpful for editing boost and engine parts. Also one thing that bugs me is the lack of up/down arrows, and the automatic apply in the tuning menu. having the car reset multiple times because i made a wrong adjustment is a bother lol. I know its easy to say old is better, new is bad, due to muscle memory. I trust that this will be a great ui/interface as updates are made
I made that comment before updating the game so it's a coincidence lol After updating I can no longer launch game from steam, but double-clicking the exe files works normally
When modifying the HUD layouts, the recent update removed the XY-size of the HUD apps. Can you add this back to make HUD modifying much easier.

I found your issue: the Intel UHD Graphics 620. You could not in the past (and now cannot at all) use Intel UHD Graphics iGPUs at a good framerate. The Iris Xe iGPUs performed better but still bad. Your solution: get a dGPU or buy a laptop with a dGPU like I did
This update runs so badly for me. Probably because my hardware is 10 years out of date, so if you are complaining about bad frames check your hardware. Hope they update the auto exposure to be a little better, atm ifs too much or too little. Peak update
I'm glad to see the new method of lighting in tunnels, however it is still unfinished. The general brightness is effected by day and night regardless of location. The tunnels under the refinery on West Coast have no lighting at all; at night they are pitch black and during the day they are flat and let sunlight in in spots. Also on West Coast, the lighting in the light rail/convention center tunnel is disabled during the day (or at least not visible) when it should be on constantly.
-Neon underglow lights shine through the vehicle (can see them on the floor from the interior cam) -Button boxes seem more finicky than before. Things like opening doors or latches are hit or miss
I'm having trouble with career mode. The "new save" button isn't working. On safe mode it's working fine, though. tested using D3D12. you also cannot back out, you're just softlocked. Quitting the game is the one thing that works in this instance.
