since i got my gpu when i play gta my monitors goes black and says "input not support" any suggestions?
It's using a resolution not supported by the monitors, or the computer crashed. Can you exit the game, and have you overclocked? I'll be back in a sec after some IV research EDIT right click in the game's folder white space and choose New -> text document rename it: commandline.txt open it and write this: -windowed now save the file and close it that way your game should work in a window mode so you can change the game's resolution to the same or lower as your monitor when you are finished save the settings exit the game and just delete the commandline.txt file
Two things you can try. 1) Delete the settings.cfg file. It should be in either Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV, or AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV. Your AppData folder might be hidden so open up Computer, click on the address bar and type in %appdata% with the percentage symbols, it should take you there. 2) You should have a shortcut (open start and search for the game's name) that starts the game in safe mode.
