Just went to Brighton Porsche to see the 918. (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) Wing up (imported from here)
idk i don't find that Porsche or any supercar exciting no Ferrari, Bugatti, kngssssg, Porsche... they are not exciting for me. Yeah i guess they are ... fast, expensive, others dig them but.... nah. Not for me. If i got one i would sell it and get a new Skoda... A few of them. I would rather drive a banger 90's Corolla than a LaFerrari or anything like that, they are boring. Am i a Motohipster?
I have wasted 1777 hours on steam in only 7 games. TF2, 977 hours, Assetto Corsa 33 Hours, F1 2013, 26 Hours, Dayz 6 hours, CS:GO 231 hours, Garrys Mod 459 hours, Battlestations Pacific 45 hours Wow. That excludes everything else, like my 131 on Black Ops 2 or 137 on Portal 2. With those 2 included = 2045 hours. Wow. 85.2 days.
So I wake up to find that my rig has decided to not display any video. Great. Troubleshooting mode activated!....... .....after I eat breakfast.
Wow, much older than I thought. For a 6 year old CPU it's amazing, nearly matches an i3-4340. Even more of a reason to buy a high-end CPU. It lasts for ages. - - - Updated - - - You'll need to find some 1333MHz RAM, X58 doesn't support 1600 and up. Also, > $20 cooler > not 212 evo u wot
They can put 2300mhz ram in that system for all the computer cares, it will still run, just at the maximum speed the motherboard can do. So if they put 1600mhz ram in and the motherboard supports it then it will work at 1600mhz, if not it will run at 1333mhz no problem. If i remember correctly many motherboards will allow for higher ram speeds than the chipset may officially support. From googling that motherboard supports running ram at up to 1333mhz, but anything else will work at up to that value, maybe even more if you are lucky.
Just in case they plan on trying to get RAM second hand and they find that only 1600mhz is available. Also because they cost basically the same: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/4gb-...600)-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-9-9-9-24-xmp-165v (£29.14) http://www.scan.co.uk/products/4gb-...6-(1333)-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-9-9-9-24-150v (£28.08)
Or creatively position some paper clips in the connectors to short it out and hope it dies. (dont actually do this, i am not responsible for fires etc)
Im just sayin, they had a hard time figuring out which way to place the CPU in the motherboard after taking it out them self. Its entirely possible they could burn the house down shorting out a 200w psu. The last thing i want is some lawsuit after me because some kid electrocuted themselves after they followed some incredibly stupid satirical advice on the internet. Since the parents would be likely to try and sue if possible. Also because i am sure it would start some think of the children style thing and be used as evidence for censoring the internet. However unlikely all of the above is.
Cutting the wires is safer and guaranteed to work. Trust me, I know about PSU sabotage. If I were to do it the 'fun' way, I'd discharge 300v on the internal 12v distribution part. That's sure to make a bit of a mess.
So this is like the first 40°F day this year. It feels so fantastic out. It's going to only warm up from here and I'm starting to get spring fever. I feel trapped inside with nothing to do and I want to be outside in this warm weather (well warm relative to this winter where it has been in the teens and twenties a majority of the time). Unfortunately the snow isn't melting fast enough so there isn't much I can really do outside. :/
You're not far off there. There's been a few times that the "victims" one because they did something stupid. This country...
Get a CM 212 Evo. Great cooler, and it's cheap. Also, get a GTX 970 if you can afford it, if you can't get a 960. I'd recommend MSI or Gigabyte, although the Gigabyte 970 probably won't fit in a N200.
Hey!! Same PSU! 500B is a great PSU, never had a problem with it, and it doesn't ever coil whine. Also any screw that fits will work. If you have a "extra screw" box laying around, pick from that. Otherwise use provided screws.
