The 24th is on a Friday - we haven't had a Friday update in almost seven years (0.17 was the last one). It's not nearly as bad as guessing the 12th (since we used to get Friday updates quite often for a few years - we've had 12 major updates land on that day), but I still don't think it will happen. I think the update's gonna drop around the 28th-29th - if not later, like the 4th-5th of August (so, two-three weeks from now)... ...which is backed up by Stenyak saying "some weeks or so" here. 0.17 (the last Friday update) was in August of 2019, almost 7 years ago.
Actually I already have all the petrol and diesel Stellantis engines (Peugeot, Citroen) done for the Vivace, I just have to port them to the Ardente, but I fear there will be no diesel engines in this car
European 2-door Sport Coupes and Convertibles actually have diesel options, so yeah! The Eos, the Scirocco, the TT, the A5, the RCZ, the 2-Series, the 4-Series, the SLK/SLC, the C-Class Coupe, the E-Class Coupe, the CLE, all these traditionally had/have/have been having diesels in their lineups!
To be fair he did mention that Tdev did say a lot of maybes when he hinted at a possible release next week if things go smoothly which is very true.
I wonder if the graphical improvement will impact my iGPU more than it already is... I ordered a 16GB ram upgrade though, because my GPU takes memory from the ram, and maybe that would get me a couple more frames...
Even with an integrated GPU? From the trailers, I don't think my GPU can handle that... Specs: ASUS Vivobook 14, intel core i3, intel UHD graphics, 8GB ddr4 ram, 128GB m.2 ssd.
I imagine that the ardente will be like the wendover in that it will only be available with independent rear suspension
I mean, I'd assume so, since the Vivace is mainly an eco hatchback, has no reason for coilovers and such on all trims.. Though technically the torsion beam is "independent".
