Update Speculation thread

Probably just for 0.39, since the schedule is already messed up enough.

 

Update tomorrow?? I don't ever recall seeing a teaser Wednesday before. They normally only do teasers on weird days on the week of the update.

It seems that the Ardente will have a colorable roof option (or, at least, gray and black roof options).

If I remember correctly, one of the devs said that it will take a while until the update comes out (like, it won't come out until the second half of July). I think they just did this to satisfy our need for teasers, hahaha.

 

The radio towers? Yeah those have always been there, the ones near the neighbourhood are accessible by road even

The turquoise Ardente in the teaser isn't moving its spoiler. So, we can assume that the Ardente will have trims without active spoilers (or no spoilers at all).

 

Didn’t one of the devs recently say “not too many weeks left now” in the beam cord? There’s a screenshot somewhere on this thread IIRC

 

I think somebody sent it a couple of pages back, but I honestly think in a couple of days, to mid next week when the update drops.

 

It does move its spoiler.

 

I think it was said on the Discord channel. If I remember correctly, someone said a date (I can't remember which date, but it was around July 15th), and one of the devs said they wish it would be this early.

I doubt it, but you are correct that teasers on weird days of the week usually mean that the update is near. The last teaser for 0.34 dropped on a Monday, and just a day before the update dropped.

I feel like Manfred just gave up after the torrent of teasers over the past couple weeks - and I don't blame him for doing so. Honestly, that's what annoys me about the devs doing so many teasers through Discord - it makes it more difficult trying to keep track of things.

The way tdev worded this makes it seem more like they have a deadline and are struggling to get stuff ready for said deadline

 

Ohhh, the Ardente looks lit!
I also really like the fact it's got a colorable roof, it makes it even nicer looking to my eyes!
Also, judging by the dual left-hand-side mounted exhaust tip and the 18in Cherrier Sport wheels, I'm willing to bet we're seeing the equivalent of the Vivace 230S (1.6 turbocharged Inline-4, 230hp/360Nm, 7-Speed DCT, FWD, narrow body)!
