Do you think anyone's gonna be here for 90,000? Also I'm gonna say something update related so my message doesn't get removed for being offtopic To be honest, even though 0.39 plans to be heavily optimized, I think anybody with a pre-2020 entry-level GPU, or anybody with integrated graphics is going to have a hard time running the game. But IDK, the update is taking a very long time which makes me think theres a serious lock-in at the Beam Team.
The 80,000th post was at the end of the 4,000th page. How about that? edit: wait no that makes perfect sense i'm an idiot
tbh if you have AMD iGPUs I doubt you'll have issues, given they are targeting the Steam Deck as well.
Since it will be based on the FCV Platform and have the same engines, it's gonna be as quick and fast as the Vivace, which is the smaller of the two existing FCVs (smaller in the sense that it's lower and lighter than the Tograc in their comparable versions). Maybe a bit faster even, since it seems like a smaller car than the Vivace, with slightly better aerodynamics due to its Fastback body style. But it's certainly gonna outhandle both the other FCVs in the bends due to its even lower stance and center of gravity (especially with the carbon fiber roof). It's also certainly gonna be lighter than the Vivace because it doesn't have as much car to lug around.
The problem is that the 4th of July's on a Saturday this year. BeamNG hasn't released an update on Saturday since 0.6 (I-Series update, 23 July 2016), and there hasn't been an update on Friday since 0.17 (Bluebuck update, 16 Aug 2019). So, I highly doubt that it'll be dropping on the 4th. Also, the (probably jokey) "12 July" speculated release date is on a Sunday, which the devs haven't dropped an update on since 0.4.1 (8 Aug 2015). The latest Monday update was 0.26 (19 Sept 2022), while every single update since then has been between Tuesday and Thursday. I'm guessing either next week (7-9 July) or the week after (14-16 July) at this point.
Yes, it makes sense based on the work schedule of the Beam Team that the update not go out on a weekend. Oh, the I-Series is becoming 10 years old this July? Time flies!
Put the Kc8 ttSport in this mix too, with the epic high-revving NA version of the 4.4 ttSport V8! Although that's a 2-seater and only RWD, now that I think about it... But it's right up there power- and torque-wise (450hp/570Nm for the SBR4 TTS2, 410hp/520Nm for the Ardente S 410Q Arsenic and 475hp/450Nm for the Kc8 ttSport), not to mention that all 3 of them sport 7-Speed DCTs. And the most important thing? The Kc8 runs on the Selecta Sport Plus 2R tires (and the Ardente has them too, as we've seen in the YT teaser, which means the FCV Platform in general is finally gonna get them)!
Yep, that works too! --- Post updated --- It came from this picture here, posted by Tdev (I think). It's written on the rear side glass and on the rear bumper!
Tomorrow is the day when PBR was released with update 0.23 released 5 years ago (it was also the first game version I played for BeamNG btw!).
