I mean like a earlier fleet model, like the 2nd to last gen LTD and Marquis, which were on the Panther with the LTD Crown Vic and Grand Marquis
So, after I am finished exams I need a partner to do some work on the Grand Marshal. What I want is some era appropriate lightbars, engines, and transmissions, as I am not very knowledgeable in that. Won't be paid, but it shouldn't take too much work, besides the lightbar. Also want to tune the suspension, so if someone owns a similar car and can tune it, that would be a huge help. Lil pick so you guys arn't starved.
perhaps you could get permission to use some light bars from the old full-size pack? From memory im pretty sure that has some period correct parts.
or just permission in general to use the engines and transmissions from that too or an alternative for the engines and transmissions could be CEEP
Are you looking for a partner for the programming of the engine, transmission and suspension or for the 3D models?
I actually think I have programmed a 5.0L and AOD from an 80s LTD already... I will check my files when I get the chance.
Decided to colour match the signals to the Grand Marshal so they would look good as a pair. I think I have done a decent job making a "previous gen" Grand Marshal in terms of design.
IIRC, the GM has a tail light cover that while aftermarket, does give the GM a bit of a unique look. Wonder if it would be possible to emulate that in the tail lights.
