I've been following the game for a long time like before 0.10 but only started playing after the first t series remaster anyways its still insane to me that the game looks this much better compared to 0.10 or any older version
I thought this was the best physics engine ever even at that point.Maybe not graphics but I still remember that demo that was floating around which my have been yarr but I've bought the game twice since then to make up for it.
Im so excited for it ngl never been so impatient for a game just want it too release haven't played it for 4 years since I got ps should of kept PC
I'm dying to know how it is on playstation man so you gotta document your experience and make a "ps5 experience" thread or something I wanna know how it goes and the progression of updates because I know they'll have hotfixes after any major update.
We need a "history of Beamng video. I still look at those as new updates but I remember when it was like 2 cars or so.
I’ve been playing since 0.26 (covet remaster). Couldn’t be happier with my decision, absolutely love this game!
I've been playing since 0.7, and it's really great that the Devs did not abandon their project and kept on expanding it.
Awkward moment when am old, and i am here since ROR days, Even the old logo on the bottom right, Back thenm no one could dream of 2026 Beamng, I guess we may think it would get till about 2015 and die out, I was praying it did not, and would not, And THANKFULLY 2026, here we are! Off topic ( sort of ) Here is some ROR< Same ( CEO T-dev ) I bet in 2005 when he made rids of rods, ( i think he made it, sorry if am wrong ) anyway i bet little did he know, 21 years later he would have a famous car game going to the PS5....... back then the ps2 was all we had, YES am almost 30, am old, EEEEEEK
I am very late to this discussion. (I've been busy with other things the past couple of years, e.g. getting a better grip on my life, which I'm succeeding at, by the way. Therapy works well if you try!) I got this game nearly twelve years ago. (I'm old. ;w; ) But it was on my mother's Steam account so later I purchased the game for my own Steam account. (Yes, I've liked this game so much that I got it twice.) Since then, the game has come a tremendously long way and is now rich with new game modes, vanilla content and custom mods, and a shit-ton of new, useful and amazing features. I'm so glad that development of BeamNG.drive has never stopped. No level of passion and commitment will ever surpass the high water mark that this little company based in Germany has set. I'm especially looking forward to the graphics updates and the significant improvements to the main stars of the game: the cars. The number of unique cars in the game has probably quadrupled in the past ten years, and that's not even considering configurations or mods. The cars are so good in this game and I can't wait to see what the new one looks like. (I even heard they added some quarry vehicles, now that's insane. This game is shooting for the moon.) I have to get back into this game. My five-year-old laptop that I've usually played BeamNG.drive is not running very optimally though, while the new computer that I got for Christmas (from my mother's current partner; I've been living with them for the past two years now) is not specced very well and not upgradeable. ;w; If I get enough money (hopefully next month) then I'll get a new laptop to replace my five-year-old GS76. (I mostly want a laptop because it's more portable than a desktop or tower PC.) Then I can play the game again and maybe even try to make content again! To Thomas, Lefteris, Gabe, Sam, Luis, Ananda, Jared, Andreas, Colin, Leeloo and all the rest – I thank you for the opportunities and the experiences which I hope will last for centuries to come.
hold on bro devs promised optimalisations in main post olso >having mother that haz steam account thats nice :]
Optimizations are nice, but it's still older hardware, and it's kinda falling apart, and it hasn't been upgraded to Windows 11, but most of all, it overheats way too easily. And besides, I'm considering making a switch to AMD hardware since my GS76 is using Intel and Nvidia components. I'm not absolutely sure which combination is better, so I want to switch to see what it's like.
I tried checking the paste myself awhile back but ended up somehow breaking the rear corners of my laptop, so I just stopped tinkering with it. I should have let someone else work on it.
