since this is EA and not supposed to be a paid mod, i wouldnt use the "paid wip" tag, thats supposed to be for paid mods that are wip, not free mods that have ea
honestly took me until now to notice does Beam not have a paid EA tag? --- Post updated --- not sure if already reported, but; the little box that opens the tailgate doesn't close it, forcing you to nodegrab it (albeit this thankfully works in walk mode, which is good for career mode and similar. high end tailights (specifically the positioning/indicator) have a fade out / low voltage effect as if they were halogen, despite turning on immediately with no fade-in, which (alongside the fact other lights on premium config are LED) leads me to believe this is incorrect, unless done on purpose.edit: noticed the same on high end mirror indicators (again, lmk if on purpose) and the high end headlight's side marker (really no reason for it to have a fade-out animation, so i doubt its purposeful.) also, mirrors themselves appear fixed. in one of the previous updates (definitely after 0.30 some modern BeamNG cars can have their mirrors manually folded, either via nodegrabbing or by having the mirror get folded by something, like a wall. here, the mirrors sort of bend up/down instead. edit 2: found that the hood doesn't close properly once opened. video example
Finally, we got a modern truck mod for BeamNG! This seems to be worth the price, but I noticed in the screenshots that the infotainment system screen is completely off. Idk if that’s just for the screenshots or it’s unfinished but is it a chance you can fix it (I might be completely wrong lol)?
the current release has no interior and every shot of the interior is work in progress for a future update
this mod looks pretty nice, not going to lie (I haven't gotten it yet) I just wonder if it's going to use some of the trim names from the official D-Series (Fleet, Chief Rancher, etc.)
I think of it more as a kind of Ford F-150/Lincoln Mark LT situation. I feel like if it were to have a Burnside varient, then it would be changed very minimally stylistically speaking, and focus more on making the cabin a bit more upscale. Really the only changes to the exterior would be maybe a slightly different front fascia and more chrome trim?
the build i downloaded has the dashboard installed, just so we're clear. there's no pedals, shifter, interior mirror or the like, BUT the gauges work and steering wheel turns, so its technically possible to driver cam it. no door cards, tho
another issue i found; AWD trims, when you put them in park while in H4 or L4 will have their front wheels shake until you either take it out of park, or switch to H2 another video example --- Post updated --- ko-fi in itself supports paypal, but the modder would need to link their account to it. currently, it supports cashapp and card
Ok, I will be the one that says it. You do not need to be charging for something like this right now.
i would take it cause i love a modern D Series and it looks really good but since i only got Paypal its out of reach for me cause i aint gonna give away my personal stuff from the card besides that it doesnt even work
That’s literally what I was saying about in my post --- Post updated --- They charge for WIP so they can hire people from the community if needed, to help model parts
