Nice, this is REALLY nice. I am having a blast with it already. Not to nitpick but I do just have one question; I am certain that this is a game engine limitation, which is why it's not a big deal, but I noticed that although the transmission is called an 18 speed manual in-game, we technically have 20 forward gears. This is because the Low RANGE has 5 gears, and High RANGE has 5 gears, whereas in real the High Range would have 4 gears (as seen on the diagram above). Because of this, is it worth renaming the in-game transmission to a 20-speed?
won't lie, definitely love seeing more modern trucks, even if it is technically from the 90's. only issues i noticed where the AMT acting wonky and the right fender signal turning on when you activate the left one, both of which seemed to be reported albeit the rear tailights seem to be wrong too, although this might just be an issue with the vanilla T-Series, since what im describing affects pretty much every vanilla USDM car (already reported to Beam, hopefully will be fixed by 0.39.)
This is really cool! Very Ford Aeromax-esque! Love it! I’ve been saying for a long time that we needed more modern semis in Beam!
in a real life eaton 18 speed, you can also shift into "low" in high range, there isn't anything actually stopping you from it (besides from what i read, the chance of your gearbox exploding due to gear speed in this gear). you're just not meant to, and its the same thing here
Regarding the combination of Lift Axles and the Fairings: Even with the larger tires (295), the tires are not visibly touching the Fairings by several inches, but still rub against them or get stuck. So even though you don't plan to offer support for coincidental functionality, maybe in this case the collision mesh just needs to be ajusted slightly to better fit the visible mesh.
It’s an amazing mod. A few things I would love to see are followed and what could be used or done to make it 1)Newer Dash. Solution:using the MD series dash and gauges 2)Camper upfit (Not the pre-existent camper). Solution: An entirely new camper style upfit 3)ABS 4)Facelift parts. Solution: Using D-series/MD series parts and grand Marshall parts e.g. Steering wheel, gauges, door handles 5)Custom rear fenders (Like Bayverse prime) in addition using d-series rear lights (Preface/facelift) 6)Custom aftermarket+Factory parts (Bumpers,Seats, lights) 7) Retro fit parts (Digital gauges taken from the vivace or ETK and a nav system like modem trucks) But theses are just things I would like to see but it’s an amazing mod all together
Love the mod, I've had a blast with it. One thing I wanna ask. whenever I upshift while revving with the automated manual transmission, I hear a brief Jake brake sound. Is that intentional? I have the Jake brake switch turned off.
yip, it uses the jakes to slow the rpm's down when shifting through many gears known, will look into it, thanks
supersingles coming soon to the wheel mod! i think you need to turn on 2fa for photo uploading to work, but don't quote me on that
correct the MT-Series configurations don't have sun visors, but the regular T-Series configurations do. is this normal?
kind of, i find the vanilla visors a bit too old fashioned so most just don't have one. some do, though
Excuse me? Are you talking about that how to upload the pictures?? Just drag the pictures to the typing bar, and the pictures will upload.
Spanks I'll try it. --- Post updated --- OHHHHHHHH....I'm a retard,im not trying to copyright. --- Post updated --- Ya a grown man figured his computer out!!!1
