Hi all. This is a discussion thread for my MT-series mod where I can better keep track of bugs and issues. Current known issues: The automated manuals can be very hiccupy, it's a system I vibe coded and I really don't want to take credit for it, it's slop code. I decided to include it as it was a fun thing, and I do enjoy driving it AMT shift positions don't work with a H-shifter, please use paddles for now Some people have the new plaque appear with no texture, this seems to be broken by a different mod The automated manuals don't use multiple reverse gears The gallery sleeper can get a little spiky sometimes Oil pans hit the axle. This is a sacrifice I'm willing to make to keep vanilla engine slot, so engine mods can be used with the MT-series Skinning is a bit of a mess... sorry! Feel free to reach out to me if you can't reverse engineer the existing skins, though templates for all new parts are included. When posting new issues, please try to make sure it is actually caused by my mod and try it without other T series mods. If it is caused by it and is not on the list of known issues, feel free to report it!
This being compatible w/ EFC's Drivetrain Expansion mod is a huge deal. Great work, the MT is lovely !
I think that the compatibility of this mod with a set of fictional trucking skins will fit perfectly --- Post updated --- И этот мод также напоминает мне набор модов для серии T, который был в версии 0.29.
Hi. First of all, very cool mod! More variety with the T-Series is always something I'm looking for. Thanks for this awesome addition! I can't really report issues (maybe except the last one), since I haven't found any yet. But because I have used your mod in combination with parts from the T-Series Drivetrain Expansion mod and Bella's Semi Add-on I have noticed a few small things that would enhance cross-compatibility between these mods. Have you considered the Lift Axles from T-Series Drivetrain Expansion when modelling the Side Fairings? Using Side Fairings with "Short Tandem Drive" Fairing Rear Ends only work with Lift Axles when the smaller (275) tires are selected (only tested with Active Steering Lift Axle). The larger tires (295) rub against the fairing or get stuck in it (tested with Small Sleeper Cab, Medium Upfit Frame and Airbag Tridem Rear Suspension + Lift Axle from T-Series Drivetrain Expansion). Maybe you weren't considering compatibility with Lift Axles, but they >>almost<< work perfectly, so if it's possible, it would be cool to be able to use the fairings with them. What would also be cool is if your new wheels were compatible with the tires from Bella's Semi Add-on (or rather if there were wider versions of your new wheels, since yours are narrower I think). On the other hand, the tires could probably also be made compatible with your wheels... I noticed you added your own Paint Designs. But the vanilla Two Tone Paint Design also looks cool on the MT and works >>almost<< perfectly, except for a short line on the hood in the wrong color. If it's possible to get rid of that line there would be another working Paint Design that looks good.
hi, thank you! the fairings are only designed to work with the two vanilla axle setups denoted, any other functionality is purely coincidental, i currently have no plans on offering support for them. the new wheels i added are narrow as this is the realistic size used for the rims of these trucks, which are usually 8.25 or 9 inches wide. the 10 inch wide basegame wheels are not realistic, so i've made my own set. i won't be adding any more tires, but creators of other mods are welcome to do so, if they wish hmm, the vanilla paint designs should all work, can you show where it doesn't line up? maybe something was missed
I haven't set up Two-factor authentication on this forum, so I can't upload a screenshot. But it is just a short straight line alongside the hood in the wrong color. I'm talking about the Paint Design where the fenders and the top of the hood are one color and between that the other color. That "side" color shows up on top of the hood in a short line. If you can't see it, maybe it is a mod conflict on my side, although I can't remember adding mods that change something about the Paint Designs... Regarding the other things: Understandable, and interesting info regarding the wheel sizes. One question on that: Can Lift-Axles have wide wheels (like the ones you added for the front axle)? Since this is with regard to another mod, it's not that important, but I still want to ask.
Amazing mod!!! Just a couple of bugs (no pics sorry will post if requested): -At the cabin trim near the exhausts, chicken lights clip into the trim. -“MT plaque (in anniversary plaque slot) shows no texture - might be just me, I have a lot of mods. -The right integrated light (the one that is on the fenders, not headlight) has no flare. Here are some suggestions if you don’t mind -To have an option to make the cutouts for exhausts in the aero side fairings optional, which that I can have underslung exhaust (EFCs mod) -Maybe have the top bunk to be removable, so that there’s more space. That’s all from me, thanks for making the MT!
as the current high profile tires are already problematic, i didn't add the wide wheels to lift axles but it was requested by someone else too, so i'll do it for the next update! and thanks, i'll double check all paint designs. i saw a couple other people have issues with the MT plaque, will see what that's about as it worked on my side, seems to work with some and not with others, weird lol. will see about what i can do with the exhausts, in worst case, i can add exhaust hole plugs. and sure, i can look into removing the top bunk, which i assume you mean for the gallery sleeper
Just two more bugs: -There is a sharp pull to the right when the front air suspension is high/low (when it’s at standard height the issue goes away immediately. I was using the ST day cab, and your 22.5x12.25 aluminum wheels. Power steering was enabled. - For the integrated signal lights on the fenders, the right one lights up when the left one is on (like hazards). Funny thing-it has a proper flare Hope this helps!
Not sure if I'd call this a bug, but more so an AMT issue. When starting off a hill it tries to start in 3rd, which usually leads to a warning message of it overheating, havent had it blow yet but maybe something to look into.
due to the t-series' inherent bump steer, driving in any height besides ride height will cause this, it's why the dash indicator flashes
Long Integral Front Frame doesn't seem to have parts automatically apply when switched into through vehicle configurator would give a video, but i need some stupid 2-step verification just to have a video sent so i'll try to word out what happens: Going from the normal T-series itself, when i switch to the Long Integral Front Frame, it doesn't have any of the cab applied making me have to set it manually
