Try to press F5 while on the loading screen. If after that it teleport you to main menu, something is broken. Also, did you try disabling every single mod except for the RLS? That may help.
Yeah it brought me back to the main menu, ill try disabling every mod and get back to you --- Post updated --- I disabled every other mod and it still sends me back to the menu and does not load
Well try launching the game in safe mode, and install RLS into the safe mode. That way it will be the only mod that will be installed. Sometimes mods that are enabled even for a sec are breaking the game. And also, try making another career save and check if new save will work. It may be possible that your current one is corrupted. But if you don't want to lose any progress, but you decide to make a new save, tell me, I will tell you one command that will make your new career profile easier.
Has anyone else had a complete shocker of an economy crash in the latest update? I used to get 2000+ from evading the police, now I get 30 if I'm lucky. I also used to get around 18000 for a new best lap on the dirt oval, now i get 200. Any ideas?
Probably not since no usecase Suggestion: a job utilizing the pigeon/other cars with greenbox or other waster services liveries to have night shifts picking up garbage - just have bins and modified cardboard boxes that you need to drive by and pause to “pick up”, maybe even optional interactivity, or just borrowing the lua from the garbage gambler 500 scenario
Often the first load does take a while as it caches files, but try hitting F5 to reload, or alt+u to hide the UI
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm trying to play RLS career mod on my Steam Deck and im getting stuck on the loading screen while starting a new save. I know this issue has been talked about many times before on here but I have not seen any for steam deck specifically. I'm not a begginer with computers nor Linux and have already tried many if not all recommended steps, but it didn't fix it and I'm at my wits end. So some info: - The loading seemingly completes and then hangs. The SD's fan goes to idle and fps counter stabilises at 30 which my game is capped on. (fps fluctuates while the game is loading) - Game is installed on my SSD - I tried on native linux build and trough proton with Vulkan. - Installed the mod correctly for both versions - Tried clearing and re-initilising the user folder for both - Re downloaded the mod again to double check i have the correct version (0.38.5 for game and v2.6.5 (BeamNG v0.38.5) for the mod) - RLS is my first and only mod - I can make saves, load in and play the career just fine without the mod, on both native and proton so its definately the mod. Did anyone get RLS running on the SD? Sorry for weird english, I'm not a native speaker.
this mod ruined my career save. it erased all my progress and all my levels and now i cant even acces the saves anymore because it wont load them

It's recommended to start a new save with RLS enabled, because otherwise as You said - it gets corrupted. But if you still want to play with RLS, here is a little command that will help you get the progress you hads on your main save on the RLS save faster: career_modules_playerAttributes.addAttributes({money=10000}, {tags={"cheat"},label="Debug Cheating"}) This command gives you 10K money, so you can manually buy all your previous stuff. About the levels - idk a command for that. I got this one from AI lol And by the way, I am NOT a RLS career developer. I may sound like one, or I may sound like a bot (I am not a bot I promise), but I am not.
The command looks a bit wrong - ai does that. Here is the correct one: career_modules_playerAttributes.addAttributes({money=150000}, {tags={"gameplay"}, label="Magic"}) The value can be changed
I mean it works for me the one I gave you. I saw you changed the label to "Magic" hehe, that's funny. And what about RLS? Do you still want to play with it? I like this mod a lot, because I had one taxi job that was for a freaking 9.1K! That's a lot...
I used to get up to 20K per taxi job with an 11 seat tuner H-Series(not every job, but about every 10th), but after the 2.6.5 rebalance the taxi pays miserable money: I make $400 MAX with 5% bonus on the jobs that used to make me 1.5-2.5K(same car, same destination, same type of passenger)

Hehe I just need to check if it still works, because I haven't played RLS for a while now, but if it works - if someone wants 2.6.4, you can just go to the update log on the mod page, and download it from there. game crashes after full circuit race. i don't know if it happens because of mods or game's itself but it happens anyway. my best progress and 70k prize money is gone. it was sad.
