Released Fictional Trucking & Service Skin Pack - Discussion Thread 5.2

I plan on adding some skins for the Potent, but it won't be coming in this update as there's already a lot of other skins I'm working on. I might add the TripleAye life gate to some of the suitable box truck configs, like Pristine Uniform & Linen and Turbo Burger

Thanks. I can incorporate this into the main mod if you want. As for the cab skins, I'm not making any new Segra skins currently since the skin UVs are being remade, but once its updated I can add the cab skins and fix my existing skins. Additionally, when the Segra gets more suitable smaller cab options, I will probably replace the american companies with a more suitable set of European construction/concrete companies.

Can you make contents for paid mods into an optional pack so there won't be an empty thunbnail in vehicle selector for those who don't have paid mods

 

you can edit the mod and remove them

 

I will have to do it every time the mod gets an update, which is quite annoying

 

Honestly its not that annoying to delete a couple folders ever couple days/weeks

 

S&C D-Series has missing lightbar...

I doubt it, TTS seems to not use real-life vehicle mods for his liveries.

I generally prefer to use lore friendly vehicles, but I do also use real vehicles if there is no lore friendly alternative available. For the Hino mod, while this specific model is not sold in North America, I still plan on adding several of my companies to the truck, treating it as if it were a Hino 155/195 or an Isuzu NPR

 

Japanese variants of your companies would be quite interesting indeed

 

By the way, did you know that RenAzuma66 has recently started making a new European truck?

 

When the Gavril T-Series Parts Add-On comes out eventually, will you add it to the mod requirements?

 

Yeah I saw. She's also making a 90's facelift for the T-Series which will also go very well with this mod.

I might include some parts in some configs, like the short upfits for the T-Series.

Yeah I can probably separate them into an addon pack. For the Gavril Scout, can someone who doesn't have the paid version confirm whether or not my skins work on the demo version of the Scout? If they don't I'll just move them into an addon pack with the Segra skins.

Update: Looks like they don’t - there really isn’t a paint design slot…

 

I believe she also confirmed that she would make a conventional, American truck out of that one like with the Volvo VN trucks, which is great because there's yet to see a modern, aerodynamic American truck mod here.
