I don't think that will happen. The Roamer has many more differences than the Tograc - it's got its own body and its own frame (albeit a modified D-Series one). The Tograc is a few body panels and some suspension parts away from being a Vivace - it might as well be called the "Vivace Cross". If the Charro and Autobuggy couldn't become their own vehicles (despite being substantially different from the base D-Series and Piccolina), I don't see why the Tograc would. If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if this new car becomes part of the FCV family. I don't think it will happen, but it would save on having to put more things into the common folder (which would hurt performance). Stoat Muldoon mentioned that as an issue when people asked why the Charro couldn't become its own vehicle (there's no link to the post, but @ManfredE3 quoted it here).
IF that is the case I will legitimately delete it from the files of the game. --- Post updated --- That looks Aston Martin to me
I always wished the Charro was a separate 2 door SUV. Its so different it should just be a separate vehicle. With a new Fascia. --- Post updated --- I feel like on image 2 it should be more of a bottom breather, and connect the grilles. --- Post updated --- Actually, they could make it so they show up as a separate vehicle in the vehicle menu, and not an actual separate vehicle. Similar to sorting by brand in the menu, and the School bus shows up separately under Wentward. This would allow for all the vehicles that are very different to be separate in the vehicle selector, like the Autobuggy, Charro, Tograc, eSBR4, ect
i hope we get a Factory Peformance Version build for the Track like the Alpine A110 R and A110 R Ultime
For tradition sake: Color coding: Green means we can be reasonably certain of it in the next update Orange means we can expect it in near future and potentially the next update Red means it's either confirmed to not be coming in the near future whatsoever or in development limbo Spoiler: Past Teaser Logs 0.38 0.37 0.36 0.35 0.34 0.33 0.32 0.31 0.30 0.29 0.28 0.27 Updated 2026/03/27, new items in bold. Release date: The spring update, when we do get one, has usually been in the final days of March or opening days of April, but has been as late as mid-April. Last time we had a Spring update that was outside that range was 0.16 in 2019. Update: According to TDev the update has been delayed. Being that there has only been a discord announcement and nothing formal I assume this will be more of a "mid-April" deal opposed to the major delays the Spring update is sometimes susceptible to. Vehicle content: New Cherrier Sports Car: We might get a car in mid 2026 Teaser 1 on February 24th, 2026 Teaser 2 on March 10th, 2026 Teaser 3 on March 17th, 2026 From what we've seen this is going to be a Cherrier FCV based sports car, imagine a current gen Audi TT or a what-if modern RCZ. This would share a lot with the FCV but probably have it's own spot in the selector, like the D-Series/Roamer situation. I have a feeling this is not the planned mid-2026 vehicle since this will borrow so much from the FCV, unless we end up with a hybrid or something weird like that. Maybe that was referring to the 0.37 equipment, or something coming later this year we don't know about yet More simplified traffic vehicles: The Hopper and smaller MD-series version(s) may get simplified traffic versions. Simplified police cars: These were experimented with and deemed not feasible Grand Marshall refresh: It was remastered but not to the same scope that current remasters cover, so sooner or later the team should be returning to this one. It's worth noting that the GM has been getting improvements and content in recent updates, but still needs some texture work Other remasters: The following vehicles have yet to be fully remastered and have not been mentioned above: ETK I-Series, Gavril Barstow, Bruckell Moonhawk, Ibishu Hopper, Ibishu Pessima mod.1988, Wentward DT40L, and the SBR Map content: Research: There has been talk of the devs doing some research on stuff for improved map development Everything Else: Improved retro compatibility: Stenyak made a post talking about the team's efforts to improve user's transition between different versions Tire physics improvements: The team had a great video, the link can be found on the official forum post. No sign of this coming soon but the team clearly has been putting a lot of work into it Mod repository: Shown here by TDev back in June Improved Skybox: Teaser on March 3rd, 2026 Gameplay: Rally game mode: General improvements in each update are expected We got the liaisons in 0.37 but there is no traffic, which makes it a bit of an odd experience. I remember reading that traffic was removed last minute before the update dropped due to some issues but I can't find the comment now. Hopefully we will see traffic in these soon Career mode: Check out the dedicated thread for discussing the WIP career mode and look at some of the posts from staff members to get a better idea of what the team has been thinking for career mode In previous versions of this post I included a large spoiler tab with a list of comments by Krallopian about the future of career mode. However, this post on February 27th indicates a potentially significant shift in the direction career mode is taking so I have removed this section until more is known. It seems that the new vision for career is narrower but deeper, and includes improved support for integration of community additions. This seems to be potentially a more traditional game career mode than what we have seen to this point.
It's quite old, added in 2018. But it did get PBR materials recently, so I don't think it needs a remaster. It could use some new parts and configs, but then again, you could say the same for the Barstow and Moonhawk
It's technically old. I'm not sure if it really needs a remaster, but I think a refresh will be fine.
I look forward to the volumetric clouds, im on the edge of my seat hoping this applies to all the particle fx's as that's due a major update & overhaul for quite sometime now. Imagine burnouts, rallying, drifting with authentic particle fx. I'd personally love it.
Hmmmm, getting mixed signals here. The lower photo shows a grille more akin to the one found on the Arsenic variants. Large and intense vertical fins and, also, the fins lying on each end can also accommodate the characteristic Arsenic DRLs. The upper photo, though, shows a less aggressive grille, without any fins, coupled with black plastic joining the grille and the headlights. Problem is, this part would be better suited to the Arsenic bumper, because it would make it look even sportier. The only hypothesis I can make is that this black plastic is a separate part on the front bumpers slot of the parts selector and is a part that can be put on all front bumpers, purely for aesthetics. Like that part found on the 2010 Seat Ibiza Cupra Bocanegra. Whatever it is, I'm hoping for something different: that the 245/35R19 Selecta SportPlus 2R tires finally become an option on the 19x9 Vivace S wheels, since this tire size is already available for some other vehicles (the modern ETKs and the Scintilla being the most notable)! --- Post updated --- Its engine would certainly need a remastering/replacement now that the BeamNG lore has its own company for heavy-duty diesel engines (talking about Belasco-Diesel, of course). I could easily see the Belasco-Diesel 640CUI I6 (along with its 4-speed and 5-speed automatic transmissions) powering the DT40-L, since it weighs about the same as the MD-Series, despite its substantially larger size.
Agreed. Something just feels off about having to run ETK wheels on a Vivace solely for the semi-slicks.
Could the existing FCVs cars be getting a facelift coinciding with the release of the coupe? Seeing the design process of the new coupe reminded me of the devblog about the development of the vivace. Most notably, it was mentioned that the initial linework design of the headlights (below) was reworked because "The headlight shape was too futuristic to work with current common technologies" There have been quite a few developments in the wackiness of headlight designs in recent years, such a design might be considered "feasible" now. Currently the Vivace and Tograc's production years only span up to 2025, meaning there are currently no in-production cars in the game. It would be weird for the new car to be a 2026 model, and have no production overlap with the FCV. Real life equivalents like the DS4 and Peugeot 308 from 2021 both recieved facelifts in 2025. If so, I could see the tograc getting quite a radical redesign, after all, the 'buying public" (the playerbase) "did not recieve it well" (laughed at how ugly it was). A possible design direction for this might be found in the very first/last frame of the teaser video, where the coupe was initially depicted with a much more rigid, minmalist, architectural design, reminiscent of the Jaguar 00 or Audi Concept C:
The FCV platform is also an EV platform alongside the ICE so one of those designs shown in the teaser might be for the EV version, and it may be this one
I wonder if improved night lighting is in the works, if it's something that facilitates working on the headlights and taillights. Also, is that the headlight from a Twingo?
