theres actually already a sorbet mod (https://www.beamng.com/threads/sorbet-1600-ltd.108748/) and for the mercedes taxi you can use the remastered ETK W series (https://www.beamng.com/threads/etk-w-series-revamp.108674/)
can you don't pollute my thread thx anyways since ive been reminded this is a thing here's last night's internal changelog i'm currently trying to get the front end geometry stable and reliable enough to work with shortened steering knuckles to allow for more than stock steering angle
NGL imagine Having the Satsuma, Sorbet adn the Rivett at the same time OMG that is an actual MWC dream come true
Bugster does all kinds of parts and expansions for Beamng cars/mods, so i think he is actually helping Dayz
its the SimpleNG adaption i made btw just so i don't get bombarded about being a tester lol which i am obviously NOT one smh
These are still nice and appreciated. As long as it doesn't impede progress, I say please keep posting these changelogs.
Its litrelly my winter car with the the sorbet mod, now all we need is a gifu and a kekmet tractor and we are all set!
Question, not a suggestion: Will it be (or has it been) difficult to recreate a "normal" Rivett idle? Take note that the car in-game idles during winter, which means air is more condense therefore it leaves side effects such as higher idle speed and some other stuff like a more "smoky" exhaust (put simply). Also, is/was it hard to determine how hard the radiator works (because it's only ever been tested in the cold)? Not sure if these questions (or similar) were already asked since I did not check the thread, but it would be something to take note of
Nice to see how far this has come in just a month or so, can't wait to see a release in the future. While on the topic of temperature though, I have to ask: Will there be a way to make low-temp engine behaviour optional for the Rivett? I love the Satsuma but as someone who doesn't spawn with engines pre-heated, getting that "Engine cold!" message constantly and having the throttle cut intermittently for the first couple minutes of driving is easily the most annoying partabout using it. I appreciate the realism, but it is a pain in the ass after a while.
Terrible Idea, but a slow, smokey, and noisy OHV inline 4 diesel engine would be a fun addition if you would consider adding one. I get that the TC1's never had diesel options, but it would be cool BeamNG addition
