Very early work of my latest mod, the Soliad Wakefield! Based on the infamous PT Cruiser, it will have a pre - facelift (Current one in photos is the facelift) It has the Bruckell I4, and uses suspension from the LeGran. (Plus the "bruckell_mechanical" texture.) I also plan to maybe do the convertible 2 - door (Though that one will likely be paid, and is more bonus content if you donate to me. I will only make it paid if I can make the roof come up and down) So, overview of planned content: - Pre facelift and facelift - 2 door convertible - Goal of around 25 - 30 configs - Somewhat interactable interior (Hazards, lights, ect) - Foldable rear seats - Simplified traffic (USDM and EUDM) - Bastion Redhawk engine swap - Shut up there WILL be a beater - EUDM, JDM, and USDM (Yes, the PT Cruiser was sold in Japan) Add any suggestion's you have. Currently in game, working, with some textures. No lights or interior modeled yet. All of the exterior is modeled, including detailed unibody. Every major body panel is in game and finished (Besides tailgate, it needs work) Had some problems with shading on the fenders, if someone with experience could help DM me.
oh my god its beautiful my grandma had a red one of these and it was the absolute worst thing i ever had the displeasure of driving and i cant wait to absolutely destroy this pos ALSO this looks awesome!!!
About the same as the IRL dimensions. It was marketed IRL as a "Hot Hatch" so its a tiny bit smaller than a midsized vehicle.
Makes me curious...if this project works out well enough, could the basis of this be used for a lore-friendly Neon as well? Since the PT Cruiser was based on a modified version of the Neon's platform.
Yes. Also there where police versions IRL in eastern Europe. I'll add a USDM Public relations version.
If you do a RHD version, there were PT Cruiser police cars in some states in Australia. NSW had them, so did Victoria.
Good idea, shouldn’t take to much to make an Australian version. What are the differences between Australian and EUDM regulations? Besides the side of the wheel.
IIRC, they were otherwise identical to EUDM versions, though the Australian ones were built in Mexico, alongside the North American ones, while EUDM ones were built in Austria, alongside Japanese market ones. Seems a bit complicated, IMHO.
