Thank you for letting us know. I'm receiving too many messages nowadays. Sorry for that. @CrashHavenBNG As far as I remember, the mod is around 10 tons.
Yep the normal version is almost 23000 lbs --- Post updated --- All good for the message delay. If the offer's still open I'd love to be a tester for the full version btw
@Mert Y. I'm hoping a Potent service truck/tow truck can also be added later on. But this is only a suggestion.
True, true. Even if not 1/1 to the main one I think it could use a little more heft though. If you make it heavier it might not be a bad idea to give extra torque to the simplified engine just so it merges with traffic faster. But who am I to say, you guys definitely know what you're doing, great work again
I really dont wanna bombard him with more ideas now since I know he's busy but a euro spec tanker upfit like this would be sick as well
Thank you for listening to my feedback. The camera has improved significantly, but it still feels slightly off-center. I don't think it's a concern at this point. Also, I noticed something else: the rear suspension feels like it's barely functioning, and the chassis flex seems to mimic suspension movement. Does this apply to all EU trucks? I'm no expert, but I suspect it might be a MOD issue. And I think related to this problem, the chassis feels jelly-like and overly flexible. Also, I think we should slightly reduce the stiffness in the front of the chassis. The reason is that I rammed into several trucks, and that part didn't break at all. Thank you for always taking my complaints seriously.
Thank you for the feedback. I haven't noticed the first issue so far. I will look at it. When it comes to second one, I did it on purpose as the front cab suspension structure is a bit complicated. It causes some artifacts because of the pressured beams if I reduce the deformation. When I decrease the beam strength, the cab completely detaches from the chassis after a crash, which is a bit unrealistic. But I will surely work on it again.
brilliant mod. being from the us, i had not heard of the renault magnum but now am glad i did. i look forward to the paid version releasing. will be an ez buy!
This mod looks amazing. Just came across it. I'm dowloading the demo right now, and will 100% buy the full version when it releases. --- Post updated --- Something I've noticed after installing the demo is that whatever system used by the game to detect the level of the vehicle for the pitch and roll UI needs to be calibrated. This is showing I'm at a 46 degree angle, but I'm more-or-less level.
I didn't notice because I didn't read the description carefully, but it seems the release version of this MOD is paid. It's a bit disappointing I can't purchase it, but well, it's an EU truck, so I guess that's how it goes. Also, a suggestion: the tail light textures feel a bit lacking (see Image 1). I think increasing the metallic level of the textures and making the internal shape of the lights (see Image 2) more three-dimensional would improve the appearance (see reference example in Image 3). A suggestion regarding cables too. European trucks tend to have many cable-like parts (see Image 4). How about increasing the number of cables and adding physically animated movements, similar to the excavator in v0.38 (see Image 5)? This ended up being a long message, but I'm rooting for you.
No, I can tell because theres a label on the container. Its likely caused be the cab suspension, because when the vehicle gets deformed it teleports to the nearest Ai road when using autonomous driving. Thats more a BeamNG problem because respawning the cars when its damaged makes no sense. Also it should drive to the destination you mark on the map.
