Look at the FAQ my friend. But if you're too lazy, it will be but not as much configs as the paid variant.

It may have been a while since I last released a new mod or update but rest assured, I have not been slacking!
In fact, I challenged myself to, once again, create a very detailed and high effort mod. Something I wanted to do for YEARS now.
I present you: The Sapphire GT7!
It's a 1 to 1 replica of a Saleen S7 and will be released on the Repository and Gumroad some time next year (2026).

(Progress from 27.05.2025)

I have been working on this for the past 2 years and have amounted 1.3Gb or images and videos as reference. A bunch is just to have it, others for tiny details. I am trying my very best to get it as close to the real thing as I possibly can. I really like this car and going this in depth with it and the company which made it has been pretty fun so far.
I have even found images of the actual Saleen S7 model from Phil Frank, the designer of the car! I will try to also tell as much lore about the car as I can via this mod (as well as my future projects)

Mechanicals, suspension and frame have been pretty much finalized and (some parts) just need low poly meshes + UVs and textures.

Current progress of the Jbeam looks about like this:
Sadly you will have to go far into the thread (At least page 20) to see images of it, because for whatever reason, the admins decided that no more than 10 files shall be attached to any thread, meanwhile this already has like 30 images. I am not deleting 2/3 of the thread just to upload one image of the jbeam...
This is just as dumb of a change as disallowing editing threads after a certain amount of time.

I also commissioned rims from @RenAzuma66 . He did an amazing job! (There are colourable versions of the GT1 racing wheels as well)

What's left to do?
JBeam: interior, tuning
Model: Model more parts, Interior
Textures/UV: Engine, Mechanical, Interior, Outside facing textures

FAQ
Q: Will it be free?

Q: Is it scratch made?
A: Yes.

Q: Will the JBeam be scratch made?
A: Yes.

Q: What will the polycount be?
A: ~200k tris, a lot of detail went into the mechanicals, body is close to the Scintilla. Most of the extra geometry lies in mechanical detail, which isn't meant to deform perfectly anyways

Q: How many configs will it have?
A: About 25, including 3-4 race cars, all factory versions and various custom builds.

Q: Wait, didn't they stop producing the Saleen S7 in 2009?
A: Yes, they did, however they built at least 2 cars in 2017 and recently stated on social media: "yes, we are currently building a few right now"

Q: When relez?
A: Read the first 5 lines of this thread.
