Motion blur pics are achieved using Reshade. There are a couple of good tutorials on Youtube on how to get them done, so I highly suggest going out for a look.
Hey, just small nitpick as its otherwise a great mod. It seems that the configs are equiped with open differential while i belive the real car has LSD?
the LSD irl was an optional extra, hence why only the Inspiration Series has it equipped, as that had it as standard
a lot of hate is either if you make a real life car thats paid and post it here, make a ultra garbage meshslap, or you say its much better than it actually is. None of what i said applies here one thing tho, you could upload the mod directly to the forum post intead of a gdrive link for more images, you can make a separate message , copy the url of the images and use the image embed thing --- Post updated --- a few things to improve for the deformation to be miles better would be removing all of this fake black stuff from the mesh, since those are causing the most spiking in the bumper ive seen, and also the fake inner radiator so you can see the real radiator right behind lol you can see this also applies to the rear bumper, and that it deforms well apart from that black plastic stuff only other thing i could find is that the side glass break is ultra messed up (im not sure how you can mess it up like that but eh) and the back glass break clips with the "frame" so you cant really see it but in general it deforms well other small thing i was able to notice is that you are missing the headers that the active aero clips so you should adjust the jbeam a tad and that this section on the vanilla etk frame is missing some triangles and the navi also has this clipping going on so id either move the fake buttons a bit forward, or just remove them since they are very low res and dont look very nice either way oh and one last thing, id remove the hardcoded redline sound, that sounds really awful ( and makes it so you cant have the option to have an aftermarket adjustable redline, which is cool sometimes) apart from those small issues the rest of the mod is pretty good especially for your first mod so good job
Since I'm one of the people behind the sound, I do appreciate the feedback on that. I personally felt like it'd be a neat touch, considering if you reach the limiter in the real one, it sounds somewhat like what I tried to replicate. Since most people don't reaaaally seem to like it, it'll most likely have to go.
Personally i'd say PLEASE DON'T REMOVE IT, lol. As you said, on the real car when you reach the rev limiter it makes that redline sound, and because it's so close to the real thing, i think it's probably one of my favorite things on this mod. Some engine mods with new sounds have the option of having a rev limiter sound or not. Maybe that could be the way with this?
I love the mod I've been waiting and searching for an LC500, as it's my dream car. Thank you for making that happen! Here's a recent picture I took while enjoying some back roads. Enjoy! Looking forward to your next mod, aka the Audi R8. Once again, thank u !!
Honestly that's something I was considering after I heard most people don't want it. We could look into it to see if it's easily doable. i deadass thought that was just a real image lmao About the R8 though, as kratos has finished the LC500 for its main release, we've already been working on the R8 again. Unfortunately, we couldn't get it out this year, but early next year is a promise to y'all.
the main issue i found is that it sounds way too early so when you are accelerating it "redlines" without getting to the rev limit + its not actually redlining in game since the rev limiter is soft so it can play the sound
as specified in the bug reports list, its not because of the jbeam, rather the fact that the 3d model ive used is pretty high-poly for BeamNG standards, hence why it spikes alot when you crash
