Update Speculation thread

I think it depends on the size, since it seems to be a more intermediate sized one it might not have anything overly complex, maybe a V8 or V12 Diesel. I'm expecting something in the ballpark of the CAT 777 which have similar engines

 

I wonder if we'll get a Grader as well. Would be very unique. There is a lot of possibilities!

 

I don’t know what it is, but I’ll play along with the big dumper theory…what scenarios are we getting with it? And where? Utah seems like the only spot that makes sense. I know there’s a quarry in west coast but if this is a point to point mission, realistically where would this thing go?

 

It's for novelty more than anything I suppose. I'm 1000% for it
And Johnson Valley has pretty good scenario potential for a vehicle this size

 

Yes it's not. AI steals from actual artists which is why a lot of works end up looking like ai.

Anyways I still think the slidenodes on the sides are the "hands" that pick up the garbage from the side.

 

I think this is the biggest update since 0.27, prob not bigger but we can hope.

 

Its something HUGE. Perhaps a dump truck who knows. I have a feeling it has more than just certain hydraulics or something. This is going to be very interesting as more teasers start to come out. I wonder if they're going to add a cavern map. That would be interesting. All I know it could be an RV but RVs aren't that big. This is a long HUGE truck. Perhaps it's a trailer that has a crane upfit or something for the t series. There seems to be a absolute ton of sliding parts. I'm starting to think that this whatever it is is more than just one thing. Those screenshots dont seem to line up the same. Could it be different attachments or tools? Do we know the width of it??? Are there any height guesses??? Would it fit under a bridge?

What I do know is it's about three vivace long. Somewhere around that. Now we can use that to figure out how tall it is since we've got a measurement to go off of.

 

I am still lost on what the first teaser could possibly be. The second is very obvious, but not the first

I'm thinking back to this teaser from the last update and the seemingly huge heavy duty tyre close to the camera.

 

I wonder if hybrid drive trains are going to become more popular in the game. Who knows but I've been begging them for a prius shape for a while now

 

If they add a hybrid it HAS to be a Prius/insight type of thing. If its anything else I will spontaneously combust.

i think wentward could be the perfect brand for these types of vehicles or belasco-diesel ( the brand of the engine of the T-serie )

and the travel trailer don't have a brand ?

 

While the giant dump truck seems likely, it also wouldn't have much use unless they add a game mechanic to pick up large rocks or whatnot to load into its' bed.

Although, if this is a multi-vehicle update, I wonder if a mobile crane is in the pipeline? I remember MuYe pointing out that the porta-potty got a rigging sling in a previous update, so I have been under the assumption that a crane has at least been seriously considered for a while.

 

My theory is that the first Teaser was just a dump truck upside down. That's all, unless we're also getting other construction vehicles too

 

A crane would be awesome! Especially something super heavy duty, like a Liebherr. There's a crane upfit available for the T-Series, but it's very easy to tip over, not really made for rescuing cars out of ditches.

 

Wait, what? Are you referring to a mod, or is there actually a crane uplift already in BeamNG?
