it cant, cause you can see the "ramp" nodes on the left clipping into the ground, so that position is correct, and with the use of some perspective lines, you can see where it is exactly
I think the capabilities of modern computers and the reworking of tire physics have allowed developers to create larger-scale projects that were previously impossible.
Closest thing to 24m would be an anti aircraft truck or a giant crane. Though the object looks much closer to the camera so I don't know if it's really 24m --- Post updated --- Maybe the chains for the steel coils
Damn if it is then I don't even know what kind of vehicle or thing we're getting. I'm all for it lmao
You're likely right. And with Bauer's post about the previous teaser possibly being a front-end loader, I guess we're getting a big "construction update" for 0.38. It would also explain why the teasers were delayed for so long - modelling such large vehicles would take a long while. Hopefully, we finally get a functioning excavator alongside these two big goobers - I don't think we're getting deformable terrain this update, but who knows? Or maybe this whole update will be big-vehicle themed, and we'll finally get a functioning RV.
People have been modding Airbuses into Beam for years; there's nothing special about the stuff we get apart from a bit higher definition models (which still aren't that high poly compared to what i.e. Forza does).
If this is a heavy machines update then i really hope the in-game crusher gets replaced by a trailer based one
On the topic of Heavy Equipment speculation, I for one would like to see the possibility of a Low Boy Trailer being included in the event that a larger, heavier vehicle will be introduced in the next update.
Tried to line this up at best I could. Here's an idea of the size with the haul truck tire props which I'm guessing will be used. Definitely checks out.
