Hello! Just starting work on this Bastion SUV crossover thing. Once the beta mod is ready the early access version will be available here, so stick around! Also any coding help is very much appreciated (I also need a name)! Anyways here are some early pics

I don't want to sound mean, however you are making a big big mistake, like most people with zero experience, both in modelling and BeamNG modding. You've bitten off more than you can chew. Making a full car for beamng, even if it's just a "meshslap" is a huge task for someone who is just starting out.
I've also wanted to start making mods, not just for beamng, but for various games and I had no modelling knowledge. Luckily, I have a friend who is a beamng modder and he taught me the basis of modelling my own meshes. And he told me to start small and simple.
My first 3d model was a phone, which was in essence a box with its edges bevelled. Same with making a jbeam, start small, make a simple prop first before trying to make a car. Baby steps. Otherwise you'll be stuck like 80% of the community making useless posts trying to beg people to "help" you, and by help meaning that everyone else makes 90% of the work for you.

Don't get discouraged by what I wrote here. Baby steps. Good luck!

I agree entirely, however, i feel making a sedan into an suv isnt actually too hard. All that is needed is to extend the model upwards and then match the jbeam to it. Its not like hes trying to make an suv from scratch

Its not even an suv if you just make the roof os a sedan taller

yeh i dont mean just the roof lol thatd look goofy. I just mean that once hes made the suv shape, all he has to do is move the already existing nodes to match the new model.

Thank you! I think that is also a great strategy.
