The Hopper is a more recent vehicle addition so it's unlikely to be next for a refresh/remaster.
Cars like the moonhawk, barstow and pessima mk1 are more likely to be the next in line for a remaster.

Look at the hopper. It hasnt had a single texture update besides the interior one three updates ago. It is way more out of date. The ones you mention have had some updates like better textures and models, and they hold up way better than the hopper.

I never said it was impossible, just unlikely.

The vehicles seem to be being remastered based on age not it's most recent update which is why I say it's unlikely.
Either way I'm happy the vehicles are being brought up to date.

They're still pretty bad and lack variety. The Moonhawk only has so many configurations because each one only has a minor difference, with something like a different color or transmission.

It's very likely that we'll get a new teaser soon.

I like the fact that 0.30 is 30 days and 0.31 31 days.

The Hopper was added in 0.9, which dropped 14 April 2017 (so, more than eight years ago). While it's a more recent addition than the Moonhawk or the Barstow, it's certainly not new. It's only a little newer than the LeGran (released 0.8 (21 Dec 2016), remastered 0.22 (March 31 2021)).

I'm not sure if the devs will ever bother to remaster the Moonhawk. I'd say that the backlash from the re-proportioning in 0.16 was a big factor, but the 800 Series and Sunburst both got remasters/refreshes within the past three years (despite having far stronger reactions to their redesigns in 0.16). It's quite odd that it's the only vehicle released pre-SBR (0.4.2, 18 Sept 2015) to not get a remaster or a refresh. I guess it's just not a priority for the devs at the moment.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got another prop update, considering how well 0.37 did (+1,671 peak players). That's more than 0.34 and 0.35 combined (+852 and +756 players each, +1,608 players total). 0.36, despite having so much new content, didn't raise the peak at all over 0.35. And weekly peaks have been much higher post-0.37 - we're still getting 28-30K players on the weekends, while just two weeks after 0.36, the weekend peaks were down to 25-26K.

0.36 was also one of the few updates where the weekend/holidays had fewer players than release day (and by over 1,000 players, too). 0.29 also had fewer players on the weekend after its release, but that update had almost three times as many players over the previous month (5,621 vs. 2,147). 0.36 didn't bomb nearly as hard as 0.28, but I think it sent a message to the devs that most people don't care about the classic cars (unless they're brand-new).

0.28 has the excuse of being released right after one of the largest updates in BeamNG history, so it's understandable it didn't perform well. Many people also hoped/expected it to be a full-blown racing update with tire thermals/wear. 0.36 did worse than a remaster for the Sunburst and some new roads for WCA - a fairly standard update which did fairly average numbers.

Of the vehicles yet to be remastered/refreshed, I could see the Hopper or the '88 Pessima being next - they're old and simple enough to not require many new systems (if any), while being new enough to garner interest from the general public. The Wentward could also be next, since big-vehicle and destruction-themed updates tend to do fairly well as of recent.

EDIT: I've just realized that 0.38 will be almost 10 years since the release of the '88 Pessima, so that could make it more likely to be remastered. Hopefully, the '96 Pessima gets a refresh alongside it, since that car's lacking in content.

That is a funny coincidence, indeed.

Not to mention the lack of Traction Control! I can think of a bunch of vehicles from this decade that could have Traction Control! The '96 Pessima, the Grand Marshal, the Lansdale, even the Wendover with its facelift for the '92 MY and the I-Series with its facelift for the '90 MY!

Yep, we have the classic American V8s to power them too! The Gavril 291CUI/4.8l 'Fleet-Power' V8 especially will be the perfect match for such vehicles! And the Gavril 4.5 SOHC V8 could also be used for a 90s rendition of such a car!

Hmmm, no Halloween announcement, no Teaser for the past month, no Teaser this Tuesday... Tells me we're gonna have a big update for the 0.38 version! But then again, it could be just me...
