can you add something that makes thin things smoother?

 

With DirectX it crashes when loading the map Italy, except on Fastelletto, Airport, Runway and Port. It only does this on the vanilla+ preset. What could be the fix?

 

Reloading the Main LUA instance causes the mod to spit out a never-ending Fatal LUA Error string. This means that when I receive a Fatal LUA Error that causes the vehicle selector to go blank, and I hit Ctrl + L, it backfires. Therefore, I have to restart the game as a result. Please fix this if you can replicate my issue.

This mod completely broke my game!
Since the mod update on October 6th, everything has been a mess.



I'm getting a lua error and can't hear any audio so I tried resetting lua but this mod keeps loading profiles infinitely and causes the game to freeze.(F5 is the same.)

Nothing will work on this screen.

It also breaks the in-game screenshot feature Depth of Field and Ambient Occlusion Controls will not work properly.
Additionally, the LOD distance is reduced terribly and doesn't change no matter how I mess with the settings.
if try to use HQ motion blur, it will create hundreds of 0.1 second replays until you force quit the game.



When I try to delete the mod's data in-game, the UI just stretches and the game freezes.

Even after uninstalling the mod and deleting the folder from the installation folder, that horrible profile loading UI doesn't go away. What the hell did you do to my game?

I'll add this: Even after uninstalling the mod and deleting the remaining files,
reloading Lua in-game immediately crashes the game by creating a zeit folder.

How can this be?

I uninstalled the mod and deleted the residual files, but it created a new zeit folder on my computer by itself? HOW?

 

I have been messing around for over 30 minutes attempting to break the mod, however none of this is happening. Are you sure you're on the latest game version, 0.37.6? If yes, could you send me your log files?
The UI for deletion is slightly broken, yes, but it doesn't affect usage.

There is literally no possibility that ANY UI or shader effects or anything of that sort will stick around after you delete the mod's zip file. Which means that either you didn't do so, deleted something unrelated, or have a double installation of the mod. Please check again.

 

No. I've already reinstalled the game to fix it. I don't want to put this mod on my computer AGAIN.

 

If reinstalling your game fixed this but safe mode didn't, then you really really messed up the installation. I literally cannot access anything outside of your userfolder and do not copy anything out of the mod file anyways.

 

Hi, can this mod increase the grass loading distance so you can see grass much further away? No game or mod settings I try seems to decently increase the ridiculously short grass draw distance this game has. Thanks.

 

There's no simple scalar for this. "grass" is done via GroundCover, which is a more generic object that also controls e.g. small rocks on the ground on some levels. Each instance has a radius setting, but changing this causes the entire GroundCover to change its generation and thin out, as the elements have to be distributed over a bigger area. In turn, increasing the maximum amount of elements and also the size of each placement grid quickly gets you up to insanely high numbers, and will affect performance. GroundCover rendering and placement in this game is not very optimised.
