it would be nice if the Baikal had a ugly bubbly Gavril rebadge like the Chevrolet Niva.

also after the latest update this mod had the taillights on the flatbed models for both cars shatter after hitting even the smallest bumps

 

That would be cool, but the Chevrolet/ Lada Niva is completely unrelated to the Lada Niva that the Baikal is based on. Completely different platforms, completely different engines, the only thing they share is a name.

i dont think of the chevy niva as that ugly but it has some features that i am not a big fan of. also i know its not built on the same platform as the original niva but its still an idea

I previously commented that the Mir was unrealistically slow, but now after the update the Baikal has the opposite problem and is geared way too long; could you consider putting shorter final drive ratios in by default?

 

I didnt change anything about the transmission or final drives, only engines were remade. I dont think i would be putting shorter final drives on it because it has 3.90 like irl. Also it cant be screaming at 3k rpm when going 90kmh in 5th gear cuz that would be unrealistic.

 

Hey ryancookie, i have a few ideas for your vehicle pack, What abt a zil 130, (its fictional name is vil 100 series), And theres also a soviet style pop up camper i also want ya to make, its is called: Ckif M2, (its irl counterpart is called: Skif M2), also hows your progress on the KMZ/MMZ-81021 trailers

The interesting thing about the Chevrolet Niva is that this car was originally made by Lada engineers and has been produced in small-scale production for a few years under the name Lada 2123. But due to the luck of money to start conveyor assembly, Lada have searched the GM as an investor and rebaged 2123 to Chevy Niva.

The mod looks amazing, with many features and great detail. But I have stumbled upon an issue. Whenever I try to pant my car in a different color from the vehicle selector, the roof stays in its default color. I tried re-downloading the mod a few times, but the issue persists. I also tried clearing my cache, but that failed too. I downloaded the mod from the BeamNG's repository. Is this a bug?

 

The roof is tied to the secondary colour palette, change it to the same color

Hi, this mod is very cool, and I would like to see newer Lada models in the game, such as Vesta, Granta, Priora, Aura and so on. I think it would be cool to make the second part of the mod with these cars under the TAZ brand. Thanks for the mod!
