    Hi:) It’s always great to see new people interested in modding BeamNG. The BMW i8 is definitely a cool idea, but to be honest, making a fully working i8 from scratch is very advanced. You need to know about JBeam, 3D modeling, textures, materials, powertrain setup, optimization and more. I personally learned all of this the hard way, and it took a lot of time, patience and trial and error. ;)

    But don’t worry, everyone starts somewhere. A great first step is doing something simple like a rebadge, working on skins/liveries, or experimenting with private meshslaps just to practice. These may sound basic, but they really help you understand how BeamNG works and give you the foundation to make bigger projects in the future.

    So once again, take your time, ask questions when you need to, and most importantly, have fun while learning. If you keep practicing, one day you’ll have the skills to make something as advanced as the i8.

    i know @SupraTech but making a scratch version of my mod maybe will be hard as well i need to work on the mod and next add texture jbeam and more the AI could help me ok

    ai is horrible in making beamng stuff.. Just saying dont start too big, start with small projects and then gradually increase detail and start learning stuff and doing them. ;) I learned the hard way (with my ETK Hf series...)

    sorry guys to give up the thread so the reason why is called now On Hold is the next reasons

    1 i need help things like jbeam textures and more

    2 lack of time i will be now in the forums for a time monday friday and sometimes the sunday but in summer i am more online here

    3 the model first of all the model of GTA 5 it has .rar files and i didnt know how i can put it and i didnt want issues with my PC ok

    4 the interactivity next will be have opening doors and fuel cap interactive interior and more

    so this is the reason ok guys

    Please try to make a simpler mod to start, all you have done is import a model. You need to learn a lot before you can do this.

    My suggestions, start the model with UV remapping on the ETK K-Series for starters to get the textures working. JBeam-wise, you can reuse the Scintilla's for starters.

    Since you are talking about the doors, and the length does make sense (with the Scintilla and the i8 sharing similar dimensions), just make sure you redo some of the triangles (a mistake I did in the Hirochi Sunstorm before).

    Also, you can remove the BMW badging and rebadge with ETK, easing the work and lettering texturing.

    thanks for the tips but i do new space in blender and i put the car and later remove the bmw logo and put the etk one will be called the ETK Meshlop because it looks like a meshlap but is my first time creating mods ok and the original file of the car is called IHFi8 and you will be say

    what stand IHF it stands for the image below ok


    and the other will be called IHFmeshlop ok

    it would make a bit of sense considering english is not his first language (his profile says hes from venezuela), so he probably doesnt know how to speak english that well.
