This ain't a remaster, just some new parts and maybe fresh textures...it already has refreshed lights and newer parts from recent updates
Yeah, "spiritual successors/predecessors" would definitely be how I'd describe the devs' approach to adding new vehicles. Considering how long vehicles take to develop, it would make sense to flesh out the brands by making vehicles that are similar to newer/older ones, but not direct predecessors/successors. It would also explain why the Nine has so many body styles - it's likely meant to be the "start" of BeamNG vehicle history. The Nine alone has several separate spiritual successors: -Sedan: Nine -> Burnside -> Bluebuck -> Miramar -> I-Series -> Grand Marshal -> 800 Series -> Bastion -Coupe: Nine -> Burnside -> Bluebuck -> Miramar -> Barstow -> Moonhawk -> Wendover -> BX -> K-Series -Pickup: Nine -> Miramar -> Stambecco -> D-Series -Van: Nine -> Stambecco -> H-Series -> Lansdale The only exception is the roadster. I'm a bit surprised that the K-Series didn't get a convertible version when it was refreshed - maybe this car that's coming out in mid-2026 will be our first proper convertible with a folding roof? In the meantime, I guess the Hopper and Civettas are the closest we have to successors. We've only had one major update on Sunday since 0.3.8.1 - 0.4.1, from August of 2015. The last Saturday update was 0.6, in July of 2016. I highly doubt we'll be getting a weekend update.
i might have found a clue by stenyak on reddit, Okay okay, here's the grand reveal: the exact release day of the next major update will be the 14th day after the v0.37 update needs another 2 weeks to be ready™ for release! ...yea i'll see myself out
We got that update after that teaser. So could be the same case here. Also unrelated but I love your vids
Imma just say this, but the Grand Marshall is getting a refresh. Anyways, I have a feeling the update will come tomorrow since a teaser being posted on a Friday is odd.
