The 5-cylinder sound is coming from outside while driving. I don't understand why they're so hung up on this noise. There's no model in the game that produces 102 hp and 250 nm torque. The engines need to be overhauled; for some reason, power has dropped even further compared to the first version.
The 2.4 is actually a 5 cylinder cause I’ve changed the sound lol. 2.5 has a 4 cyl sound BUT! I compared it to real 2.5 recordings, and even listened to an actual 2.5 engine, and I think it's fine. For now, I’ll keep it as it is, if I manage to get custom sounds I'll update them later. As for the torque I’ll fix it when I get the chance to, right now I want to focus on finishing the demo.
yes but you should understand that soup takes time and ingredients that cost money before demanding it for free
1. everything takes some time to make. 2. in this context the 'ingredients' for 'soup' were home made (for free)
So you're arguing that the only time mods should be paid is if they purchase the models? After all, the metaphorical 'ingredients' in the mod 'soup' are the models.
It's not worth arguing this with you You won't accept that the creator of this deserves the payment they are asking because they put their time and effort into it And if the vertex is so much better than this then why are you here complaining about it being paid instead of using that mod
i agree that the dev deserves the payment, the thing is that the payment should be optional (like in vertex mod btw), and i'm using that vertex mod and i'm complaining about paid mods because they mostly worse quality than it a free mod
quantity does not equal quality in all honesty most of the paid mods from reputable paid modders are better quality than the vertex im not saying the vertex is bad but most good paid mods are miles better
Ignoring those people flaming at each other, I gonna say I LOVE this van mod! I always love seeing VW EuroVan here when it was a thing here and this reminds me of it a lot. Great work!
Ignoring the drama here for a sec, got a little bit of time to pick up and try out the mod. As someone with no particular attachment to this kind of vehicle, I find it pretty enjoyable to drive around. I like the destructibility, it almost reminds me of that old GL83 mod where every little bit could be torn off, though it's obviously to a lesser degree here. The model quality is nice, and the jbeam is solid. My main issue with it at the moment is definitely a lack of variety, which makes the slightly-higher-than-standard pricing a bit more of an eyecatcher, but the developer has promised more content, so I don't really mind at the moment. If you like vans, or vehicles with fun driving dynamics (I like the GTW quite a bit), it's a solid purchase. Otherwise, I'd probably wait for some more content updates before taking the plunge.
