I am currently more excited for the accompanying feature videos that will provide me with context than the update itself.
This is beginning to get slightly annoying, I know that it is vital and important for the devs to not only work on cars and maps, but we've literally got 7 teasers and only one vehicle-centered teaser I mean there has to be at least one new vehicle improvement, even if it's minor, that the devs can show off besides the limo!
Okay, then WHAT was the teaser purpose? Teasing us bubbles???? Showcasing the wind function which is already in the game for years?????
This is by far the most focus that props have gotten in a very long time - there has to be a big reason for it. The last time that props got this much attention was with the dyno from nine years ago (which ended up not working very well) and the spike strip (which also might not happen). I suppose the devs must've made a huge breakthrough in aero and/or thermals that they're very excited to showcase through big balls and trampolines.
may not be the most agreed opinion but im exited we are getting more prop stuff to mess around with that's always fun plus LIMOOO
...yes? And that you can have vehicles and other things inside it, while it can be made float with enough force to lift at least a small vehicle with it to the air. Or just leave it not floating and treat it like a giant hamster ball it is. It is just a teaser about another prop being added among many others that have been teased already. What were you expecting if not more content/features, which is what they always show with teasers?
Wondering if it would be possible to use them to drive on water. It would probably end in a hydrolocked engine very quickly, unless the bubble "erased" water from within its interior.
Johnson Valley Convertible, my beloved --- Post updated --- This may be a huge change, but imagine if they were showcasing a huge fan actually making wind? For now, wind is just a force that exists in the world. What if vehicles could generate it? Biblically physically accurate drafting!
With the recent addition of the quick start campaigns, it looks like they're focusing on improving the experience for new players, and one of the things new players love is using the props to test out the physics; but seeing the old rough meshes and feeling the unrefined jbeams could leave a bad impression. considering all of the maps and most of the vehicles have been remastered at this point, it makes sense that they want to pivot their attention to remastering props.
